I know golf scores can be pretty random but on paper I'd make the Rory side a decent face if handicapping it.

I like watching skins so I think this is great.

Would love to see an event at Streamsong. Now that’s a Florida course that would look glorious on TV. Played it a few months ago and it’s one of the best I’ve ever played and I’ve played some beauties.

I don't think StreamsongΒ would translate to TV well at all.

TV flattens the heck out of landscapes. Streamsong has some elevation, but the genius there is in the scale in terms of width and the subtleties in terms of height.

I also love skins games, so I'm looking forward to the match as well.

Also, I find it hard to believe that any course in Florida would be considered one of the greats.

Which is accurate, it ranked 12th in the Golf Digest Top 100 U.S. courses for 2019-2020 ahead of some pretty famous courses including Riviera, The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, Pinehurst No. 2, etc.

NOTABLE PLAYING ADJUSTMENTS

Unlike regular PGA TOUR events, some interesting adjustments have been made for this competition:

β€’ Distance measuring devices (DMD) will be allowed. However, the use of slope and elevation features on DMDs will not be permitted.

β€’ All players may wear shorts.

β€’ No caddies are allowed. Thus, all players will walk and carry their own bags or pull a trolley. Carts will be used to transport players to the 17th hole in case of a playoff.

β€’ Players will wear mics. On-course interviews by NBC announcers will also take place.

I'll be tuning in Sunday for sure. It'll be interesting to see DJ carrying his own clubs that's for certain. Ranger finders too!

I wonder if anyone will be using a pull trolley.

Can't they just use automatic trolley that simply follows you around via the bluetooth?Β  Surely a sponsor of such a device would love to lend them for free exposure.

I'd love to see one (or more) of them use an autoamatic trolley, but it certainly wouldn't be for free; these guys make bank as a walking advertisement so I think they would use one if the price was right.

So long as we don’t have to get interrupted with a silly talk by the β€˜CEO’ about how his company has changed the game....blah blah. If someone wants to run their ball washer....do it while continuing to show the golf.

I wonder how much DJ and Rory have actually been playing. I know Rickie hasn't really stopped at all and I would assume that Wolff is in the same boat. I think there is a pretty good chance that this ends up closer than the line-makers are calling.
