Some current stuff played by twenty somethings. Kids these days, playing real instruments, deep deep groove. I don't dislike all of the current music trends, love to find stuff like this.

Awe, sort of, but a guilty pleasure. The whole album is actually very good. She has a great voice. I remember listening to this cassette as a kid quite a bit.

For my best friend who just lost his mother and is going through a lot with his family trying to make things right.  God be with them:

Watched Buffett live from Tampa last night on Margaritaville TV. Of course, I had a wee bit too much to drink.

I knew Twin Peaks was going to feature at least a couple of good songs. Here's one.

Nice.

Sometimes at the range I'll set Pandora to the "Trance" station. It helps to tune out everything.

I use old Taylor Made clubs from eBay and golf shops.

I found it when I heard of this Spotify album they did called Sieepify... Ten 30 second tracks of silence. They had their fans loop the album while they were asleep.  They made about 20k before Spotify took it down and used the funds for a free concert tour.

There is so much mean spiritedness out there, it soothes me a little that there are so many kids covering this Joni Mitchell song.

    • Yeah, what brought the idea to mind was a birdie on hole 4, an uphill par 3.  Normally its about 175 yards, but from the forward tees it was only about 115.  I'd have felt guilty posting that one.
    • Not even 50 years old and falling apart. You've got to wonder - lifestyle? swing technique? heredity? or something else? Yes, we are all aware of the major accident, but for someone who has physically done "everything" to make himself one of the greatest golfers of all time, you have to wonder. Don't think I've known any golfer in the past that has gone through so many injuries and surgeries.
    • Season underway. Home course Round 2 broke the ice with two birdies on hole 6 ((9 iron) and 9 (8 iron), both par 3s. I will try to be diligent in recording this year. Hoping to add at least one on the away course sheet at the end of March with my first ever overseas (Japan) round.
    • Hey everyone, I’ve been dealing with a frustrating pain in my left hand (right-handed golfer) that only occurs when I grip the club and start my backswing. The pain is located on the back of my hand, near the wrist, and I can feel it right at the beginning of the backswing. My grip is very neutral, and I’ve experimented with different grip pressures, but nothing has made a difference   The strange thing is that it doesn’t hurt during other activities and doesn’t affect me in day-to-day life—only when I swing a golf club. I took a one-month break from golf to let it heal, but unfortunately, that didn’t help. I also tried physiotherapy, including exercises and laser treatment, but the pain persists. This has been an ongoing issue since November 2024. I’ve attached a picture, and the marked area is where it hurts. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice or treatment suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    • Jerk. 😄  That said, I have a tee time for later today.
