I mean technically, The Masters =/= PGA

😉

Nah, it’s just a MAJOR. But other than that, yeah, just a exhibition to fill in the schedule heading north out of Florida.  :-P

The Players is now a major! Zach only does this at majors.

The Masters is in April, and the weather in FL is usually quite fine in March. It just isn't this year.

The Players Championship has been in March for most of it's history. I can't remember when the weather has ever been this bad (multiple delays). Most of the time, the you just get some wind, or it is just pleasant weather.

I haven't paid much attention to the Players this year. I checked the leaderboard today and saw that they haven't finished the 3rd round yet! Yikes!

I might have some background noise while working today 🙂

Cameron Smith has a weird look going on with the hair and mustashe. Should’ve had a visit from Jonathan Van Ness.

Pretty tight leaderboard as the final nine holes are about to be played, and with 17 looming for everyone, this could be an entertaining finish.

Ha! Great reference! Looking like he’s gonna win this one. Great shot on 17.

Hell of a round from Cam Smith

I don't think there's any way he meant to hit that shot on 17, it just didn't draw back

He looks like that cool street uncle who would buy you porn and beer when you were in middle school back in the day

Welp....

Lots of great recovery shots saved his back nine. He was squirrelly off the tee on a few holes.

No kidding. Some of us can probably relate to that big banana hook off the tee on 16 (I think it was 16).

Sorry dude, It looked over water most of time to me, I do not think it got far enough left to be coming in from the side.

I wasn't aware that "compromising" on a drop was in the Rules.  I'm probably wrong, but I always thought it was the player's responsibility to determine the correct drop point.  And it seems like in that light he dropped in what he acknowledged was a wrong place.  I mean, he convicted himself out of his own mouth.

You can. He thinks it crossed up farther, but based on the best available evidence and weighing the testimony of them, he dropped in what they determined to be the best approximation.

He just protested it a bit too much. There's no "conviction" here - his drop ended up perfectly fine. Had he insisted and dropped ahead, his playing partners sound like they'd have had an issue with that and could have pursued it with a rules official.

I think it's 1.3b(2) or something.
