Joey Sindelar didn't make it either, which is a name I recognize being a fellow OSU buckeye. Andy Bernatovicz is name I recognize from the Westren NY scene. Very interesting.

I don't think I mentioned this anywhere, but I played in the local qualifier at Taconic. Did not make it through (a triple on the second hole and two doubles later in the round will do that), but it was certainly an experience. Despite 0% of rain in the forecast, it downpoured from our 4rd hole through our 7th hole, and was otherwise pretty windy. I'm not a rain gear guy, but I had the rain gloves, so I was mostly fine in the rain (plus the triple had already put me out of it), but it was interesting watching the other two guys in my group scramble to have people run to their cars for rain gear. Ended up having a decent back nine until a bogey-double finish killed my score. 

Both of the guys in my group were teaching pros and ended up making it to sectionals, and one of them (Fran Quinn) ended up making it through sectional. Definitely a good learning experience - I was pretty consistently longer than both of them off the tee, and hit a few of the best iron shots of the group, but they were significantly more consistent than me and made all of the important putts that I missed.

Am I imagining it, or is there a lot of water but not a lot in play?  Holes 10 and 13, maybe.  14, not for them.   Hole nine, perhaps?  A really bad slice off of #8 tee (but no one playing this event will slice it that bad).  Maybe at most one ball in the water from 7 or 3 all week.

I got this email from a local 9 hole course in the next town. I thought it was funny.

Why we were considered!

The fairways, rough and collection areas are lush.

The greens are fast.

Why we did not get the bid!

We only have 9 holes.

Unicorn golf course. There better be a unicorn that poops ice cream or I want a refund.

Wind may be an issue for players. Forecast is 10-20 each day, but three different directions. SSW on Thursday, WSW on Friday and a cooler NW for the weekend. Should be fun to watch.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
