That’s quite a rant. She seems peachy.

That was honestly hilarious. And you know why? Because she's right. That marathon line sent me

If she grew up with baseball…there should be no complaints at all. 12 year olds spend more time with meaningless baseball games than prospective college football players do. She thinks one 7 hour day is a pain? Try 26-30hrs/week.

It’s because is not just a game, it’s an event, or maybe a lifestyle.  The driving range before the round and the beer after are like the tailgates before college football and the burning of sofas after the game.

My (late) wife became an avid golfer after the kids were grown. Best deal ever. Monthly dues bill came - paid without a glance. Random Amazon packages - probably for her. Shoot, she practically kept the local big box golf store in business with her clothing purchases. Come to think of it I wonder why wasn’t complaining.

But thought the rant was hilarious.

Funny!  But, who asks their wife for permission so they "can" go play golf? It is a given at my home that I am playing pretty much every day. If there is something she wants/needs me to do, just tell me and not at the very last moment.  I quit asking permission to do anything once I became an adult.  Now...taking advice from me can be a bad thing for some.  I have been married 3 times but 30 years this time.

Oh brother. 🙂 If we take ourselves that seriously… the rant was hilarious.

Then again, I'll get home from a 7:00 tee time before 10:00 and my wife will ask "oh, that was fast, you played 18?"
