I like this a lot because it is based on body weight and not just sort of, oh drink 64 ounces a day!

Note, you get somewhere around 20% of your water from the food you eat.

If you are going to be working out, hydrate a lot before and after. I tested this out by measuring my weight before and after a hard workout. Like shirt pretty damp from sweat, and I needed to hydrate about 36-40 ounces of water.

Also, drink water when you wake up. You can lose about 16-32 ounces of water overnight.

Continually drink water when you play golf. It is a slow, methodical activity. Even on days when it doesn't feel like you are sweating a lot. It is more activity than just sitting around.

I get a lot of water without ever actually drinking straight water. 😉  Milk is about 87% water, IIRC, etc. Fruits are a lot of water, bread not so much. 😉

I rarely drink water.  If I'm playing an active game I'll drink water but at home I drink iced tea.   I don't cater to a specific amount of fluids but I do let my BPH dictate the amount of fluids I drink.

I drink a lot of water to avoid dehydration and cramping. I’ve always had issue with that.

Fusing: Tea is flavored water.

I drink a lot of water.  Basically sipping it almost all day. Never measured or counted, but I know that waitresses  get tired of refilling my glasses at lunch  & dinner.

I don't like water. I mostly have various hot drinks and put sugar in them. Bad I know but I don't like tap water. If I go to the gym I drink bottled water and end up running to the loo like someone else said. I know I should drink water but it's just not very nice. Apparently dogs have taste buds for water and they like it. I don't think people like it as much as animals do.

That’s quite a generalization. It’s clear that you don’t like water but there are plenty of us that drink it just fine. My daily intake is usually about 20oz of black coffee, 16oz of soda, 8oz of milk mixed into a protein shake, and anywhere between 30-60oz of water. It doesn’t even need to be cold and I kind of prefer it closer to room temperature than cold.

I quite like the taste of tap water, with sole exception being the tap water at Magic Kingdom (it’s terrible). I can’t stand when people bring me tap water with a lemon wedge in it. I didn’t ask for lemon in my water.

Well it’s magic, duh! It’s not supposed to taste like regular water!

I don’t think the water is actually magic. I don’t remember hallucinating anything, but my money sure kept disappearing!

I don’t measure my intake either. I generally have a black coffee, a bottle of soda, some sweet tea at home, and anything in between is water. An ice cold bottle of water is one of my favorite things. It feels like an immediate refresher for my body. I’ll admit that I need to drink a little more though.

If you walk up to a food/drink kiosk at Magic Kingdom and ask the person for a cup of "magic water" they will give you a small cup of Sprite for free. About 3 fingers worth. They don't sell alcohol at MK anymore so I go over to one of the courses while she hangs out there.

I drink a lot of water during the day if I’m playing or exercising. I get cramps otherwise.

Pure water has virtually no taste.  It is the minerals and other impurities that are present in water that gives its taste.

Personally, I like carbonated water.  Perrier, San Pellegrino are my favorites.  But lately, I been using Soda Stream to make my own carbonated water.

I trust the body to regulate the need itself. On hot days I don’t drink a whole lot during the day if I’m out, partly so I don’t have to go to the toilet all the time, but then I drink more when I get home.

Milk and juice for breakfast, water for all other meals. A few glasses of wine in the weekends.
