No you don't. You only need six rounds better than one other person.

Yeah. The first time Ogilvy won the Accenture in 2006, he won his first four rounds by four strokes total, including two playoffs. He won the last two rounds 4&3 and 3&2, but the guy he beat in the final, Davis Love III, won his matches by the same amount of total strokes. But that's kind of off topic, so I'm going to cover myself by saying that yes, Tiger has yet to string four solid rounds together for a long time now. ;-) Even in his Chevron win he shot 73 on Saturday.

I'd say you've got long odds on collecting.  I say that considering the current state of Tiger's game and the likelihood that the Euro will still be trading when (if) Tiger's game comes back.

Tiger looks like a guy who is working on his swing but not on his game.  He is hitting some laser shots that are pure beauty.  But his ability to score seems to have fallen off the map, as compared to Tiger 1.0 or Tiger 2.0.

Until he does that, I am not sure we will see much success from him in terms of wins and good Sunday finishes.  His putting was so very bad today I am surprised the putter did not  blush.  Sad to watch.  Reminds me of when Tom Watson started having his issues.  Beautiful ball striking, but could not score to save his life, especially with the putter.

Tiger was just plain ugly today.  I almost feel bad for Tiger because he has every shot in the bag, he just has some kind of mental block that is holding him back.

So what is it called when you four putt the first hole for a double in a tournament and end up losing by 2? It happened today to Wi and while he shot 39 on the front he banged out a 33 on the back with a three birdie finish for an even par round.  While meltdown has been thrown around the last couple of weeks, he had a major brain fart to start the round. He had a strong finish, but that got him only to even which was the second highest round of anyone finishing in the top ten. Any similarities to the last two weeks?

I'd call it a bad start.  Sure nerves were a part of it but he settled down after 5 holes and played like he did all week.  He could have mentally shut down when Phil was making all those birdies in front of him, shows what a competitor Wi is.

Yeah, he was 4 over in the first six and then was 4 under in the next 12. I almost felt bad for him except that he pulled through, won 2nd, and made a decent paycheck for playing Pebble Beach, living the dream!

Oh boy, what a sweet win for Mickelson. Played on a different level.

I couldn't watch the last 4 or 5 holes (because it was about midnight in switzerland, and I had an important meeting this morning) --> Did Tiger really miss about 6 putts under 5 feet today? That's not a good sign... Really didn't expect such a bad (putting/wedge) round out of him.

Good to see, that Charlie Wi ended his round in style.

Great Day #4.
Seeing one of the greatest to ever play the game return to form, play outstanding golf and win his first tourny since march last year.
Particularly impressive is the way Mickelson ignored Woods' bad play, never blinked and put his partner to the sword.
I'm sure everyone's been in that situation when your playing partner is badly crash-n-burning and it affects your own game...

Interesting stat:

Strokes gained putting: TW with -5.228 ; Phil with + 4.779

There are 10 shots difference already. This shows how important putting is at this level.

If yesterday was Phil's dress rehearsal for the 2012 majors, he suddenly looks like a good bet to win an Open or a second PGA. The confidence he had with the driver, the control of his irons, the strength of his putter: he's studied how Darren Clarke beat him at Royal St. George's last year, and noticed that the last three major venues this year won't be overpowered. Of course, Phil being Phil, he may very well be back to ripping the driver with reckless abandon next week.

In my UnderArmour Links stand bag...

Driver: '07 Burner 9.5° (stiff graphite shaft)
Woods: SasQuatch 17° 4-Wood (stiff graphite shaft)
Hybrid: 4DX Ironwood 20° (stiff graphite shaft)Irons/Wedges: Apex Edge 3-PW, GW, SW (stiff shaft); Carnoustie 60° LWPutter: Rossa AGSI+ Corzina...

phil is unbelievably long...hitting 8 irons 200 yards...

the last few weeks i thought he was done, as badly as he played.  sometimes i think its all in how he feels, with the arthritis and all.

Let's not forget he looked like this the very week before the Masters last season.

Exactly. Phil's as week-to-week and sometimes as day-to-day as it gets.

What yardage do the amateurs play from?  I have read the "forward tees" which at Pebble is around 6100 yards.  Is that right?  No wonder these guys were going so low.

Some amateurs are given a stroke a hole I'm guessing depending on their handicap. Ray Romano, Andy Garcia, and some others I've heard were given a stroke a hole.

If there is a tie they should resolved it just like they do pretty much everywhere else. Scorecard playoff. That's what they did at Pebble to determine the pro-am cut.

They never specified a yardage, they just said forward tees.  On some holes, it appeared to be about a 10 yard difference, and on others appeared to be closer to 40 yards of difference.

During the broadcast, I was also wondering if the announcer was accounting for that every time he mentioned that Tony Romo had "another well-over-300 yard drive."  Sometimes when they would say that, Tiger or Phil had hit 3w off the tee and were only 10-20 yards or so in back of Romo, who hit Driver from the forward tee.
