In a recent newspaper article a sponsor of a local 1 mile charity run was listed as "Coka Cola"! How does one misspell Coca Cola? I suppose it's because the shorthand is "Coke"!?

I was traveling for work and started noticing road construction signs.  As I drove closer they had a flashing sign that read right lane closed 6/5 threw 6/8. Makes me curious how far and why June 5th threw June 8th. Haha.

I guess that's like having a shouldemer separation!

And before I get flamed for going OT, this is still a media mistake! Recently, there has aired in our local market a television ad for a local restaurant. The camera shot shows their "Surf 'n Turf", in which a large fly is seen crawling around on the lobster tail!

YAAAAGGGHHHHHH! Doesn't anybody look at these things before airing them?!  BTW, that ad has been pulled!

Maybe the writer is referring to delay caused when playing golf on the computer, you know by hitting the "undo" button???

Unless they’re parents are language professors in Germany 😂

It's generally wise to, when making wisecracks about spelling, to watch your own spelling.

Huh? I wasn’t making a comment on his spelling. Just opening up a possibility that there might possibly be a way a 4 year old could possibly spell the word 😁

I didn't say you were making a comment on Scott's spelling. Both of you were, however, "making wisecracks about spelling."

I had a whattsapp message the other day, which I believe is true. It is a picture of a group of children, all them dressed as elves apart from one. The school requested the children come dressed as elves for a school play, but the one dressed incorrectly was dressed as Elvis Presley.

Last week in the local paper, "The Burger Guyz" had an article rating another upscale burger joint that are now all over the area. The description of one burger included the type of cheese that was on it, "Monetary Jack"! Hmmmm, sounds expensive! No wonder the plate was priced at $12!

It's the European Tour, so maybe he's playing in a country where he wins a bride if he makes the putt, and they misspelled bride? 🙂

    • Day 430 - 2025-12-04 Slow motion backswings (with chippy shots) with AlmostGolf balls.
    • Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.
    • Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.
    • Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
