what is your go to shot from 100 yards in the fairway?

For my distance-challenged self, I'm hitting a full PW. I've actually drained 2 from this distance in the last two years. Put me 30 yards closer or further and I'm a lot less sure.

Used to try and knock down a short swing PW but now I hit a normal 54 wedge. Getting the ball to stick is tough as our greens shape up. Yesterday I hit a purposely high 8i on a 163 yd par 3. It hit the green about 10 yards in bounced and rolled off the back into a bunker. Barely left a mark on the green, they feel like hard rubber.

I've answered before - my full SW was my go to club

I've changed in the last year.  A comfy GW is a lot more consistent for me than leaning on my SW now for that shot.

I'm getting cleaner contact and lot more loft from my SW now  I've gone from:

PW:  120

GW:  110

SW:  100

LW:   60

to

PW:  120

GW:  110

SW: 90

LW: 60

If the green is flat, and somewhat receptive - I'll hit half swing/pitch shot with a gap wedge.

If the green is flat but hard, I'll hit half swing/pitch shot with a  55.

I wish I had that low/spinner shot, but I've always been a high ball flier.

Full 55° sand wedge is right on 100 yds for me. Could not hit my Vokey 56 quite 100 but switched to a TM R7 TP 55 that matches my set and it's helped my game a ton. Changed up the gap (51) as well. Do still have a Vokey 60° that is my go to from 85 and in.

100 yards out I normally hit nice steady 52 degree wedge choked down. If I want a really soft landing or if green is sloping down away from me I hit big 58 degree wedge.

100 yards for me is a strong 56 for me.  I have trouble dialing back my PW to that distance.  I carry four wedges, but one is a 64, not a 52.

If it's going to be tough for me to hit it a 100 yards I just do the low finish and pull/hook it a bit.

Depending on the conditions, and circumstances could be a 54, a PW, or a 9i. In fact, the other night I was practicing hitting my 8i to 100 yds. :-D

thats a full 54 o for me but not a distance a like. I much prefer a pitching type swing with my wedges which puts a 54 at ~65 yards which is a good yardage for me

Gap wedge, full swing (depending on the variables of the day of course). I'm naturally a high ball hitter so if the conditions are right, I'll use a gap wedge and come in high and soft with a little bit of spin. It's a nice shot to watch and I usually catch myself admiring it. My gap wedge is a 52*.

A nice full SW for me seems to do the trick from that range.

The most consistant part of my game seems to be my 50-130 yard shots at this early stage of my golfing journey.

100 is not a good distance for me.  A little short for a PW, a little long for GW.

I guess it would be depend on how I am hitting it that day, wind, etc.

Have you tried choking down a bit with a more "controlled" swing? I use a 53° with a slightly choked-down grip. The mental image I have is that I'm just throwing the ball up, similar to what I envision with my 60 - but with a much more aggressive swing to carry the yardage. Just curious.

Either extra "umph" with 60* or 3/4 swing with SW.

Now if you are talking 95 yds, that is my 60* wedge.  Perfect distance.

I like to play a 52 with weight on my front foot and forward in my stance and give it like 60%.

I never use full swing GW, SW, or LW

Always felt clubbing down a 1/2 to 3/4 swing will always be more accurate than a full swing shot.  For me at least.
