We were supposed to have our closing day last Saturday but it got rained out. Re-scheduled for this Saturday, but now they expect a frost delay so they are going to a shotgun. Over 120 players means a torturously long round.  I think I may just bail and play with some friends elsewhere.

Just found out that a range relatively close by has covered tee boxes and coin-operated heaters. Gonna get some work done this winter.

Closest thing for me is a simulator 1 1/2 hours away....

We are suppose to get some snow on Monday. Hope it melts before next weekend. Sometime I wish we had simulators near by for evenings and cold snow days. :-)

I went today.  It was 38 degrees with a 15-20mph northerly wind.  Had the course all to myself.  Now if it wasn't for the damn leaves...

Courses here do stay open all year weather permitting, but I don't deal well with cold.

Even though it happens every year at this time, I still say the same thing every time, "How coming they f*%#king have Christmas stuff out in the stores so early?!?" My wife just says, "It's the same time every year, honey, and every year you say the same thing." :loco: Oh well, at least this year I'm going to Naples, Fl, for Thanksgiving week and get to play free golf all week on a great course complements of my in-laws! :-D That will help when the Michigan weather hits hard...

Had a light flurry for 15mins last night but it didn't even dust the pavement. Temps are definitely dropping though, icicle on my gazebo yesterday. :-(
