No, we eat peanut products, but we've always been very careful about any chance of cross contamination. She's also very aware of her surroundings and takes responsibility for her own welfare too. We can't take her to some place like Five Guys though, where they toss peanut shells on the floor. She'd blow up like a balloon just walking through the door! It really bothers me when schools or other organizations go to such an extreme, as in @Golfingdad 's case, and effectively punish an entire student body, when much more reasonable accommodations could easily be made. A perfect example of knee-jerk over-reaction. And yeah, this from a guy whose daughter's allergy is so severe that she has to carry an epipen with her.

Wow, that's gotta be tough. I admire your perspective, wouldn't have expected anything different. ;) And, for the record @golfingdad 's response was similarly predictable. ;)

Amateur.  You need to put the PB on both pieces of bread.  That creates a fortress of solitude for the J, and prevents any seepage of sogginess into the bread.

I don't mind chunky… except that it often tears the bread up a bit, and if you're eating a jelly or jam with seeds, you often get a bit of "crunch" anyway. Plus I like a lot of peanut butter, and it seals better if it's creamy. :)

Why is chunky peanut butter so dry that it tears the bread?! I hate that. Why can't they just slide some chunks into the creamy peanut butter?! Best of both worlds. Creamy wins right now until they figure out how to just add the chunks to it.

If you use whole wheat bread, which is tougher, doesn't happen. To me, what makes the PB&J; is the J. A better jam makes all the difference.

That's too bad.  Our kids school is nut free due to some kids with alergies so occasionally in lieu of peanut butter and jelly, we'll give them sunflower butter and jelly.  It's certainly not the same ... but it's not totally different.  Maybe try that??

Try "Wow Butter". It's made with soy and is indistinguishable from peanut butter. I couldn't believe it but it's true and I hate bullshit soy products.

Ditto, and I'm kinda doin a thing with my diet lately so haven't had any in 2 weeks...struggling. Anyone do pb and cheese sandwiches? My family thinks it's gross and I have no idea where I picked it up but been eating them for many years. Just awesome, esp on toast. Weird?

      You get a penalty stroke because your local committee didn't do their job, they didn't address the specific conditions using the tools available to them within the Rules.  The rulemakers contemplated just this situation, bunkers being so filled with Temporary Water that they're unplayable.  The only way to address it "fairly" is to allow free relief outside the bunker, and they do NOT want to allow that on an everyday basis.  So they write the rules as it is, and allow the Committee to override the normal rule in the rare instance where the bunker really is full.  That's what your "local league" does, they invoke Model Local Rule F-16, which treats flooded bunkers as both GUR and as General Area.  Relief from GUR in the General Area allows relief in the General Area (i.e. outside the re-defined bunker).  Its quite a logical way to approach a relatively rare situation. Separately, consider your concern about temporary Water in the fairway.  I've seen situations in relatively level fairways where the Nearest Point of Complete Relief  from Temporary Water is 30 or 40 yards away, further from the green, even in the rough.

      But there's more to weight shift than just where you finish. How your weight transfers throughout the swing matters too.  But you're saying you can see it better than a device that can measure it? Got it.  Yeah I'm good here, good luck to whoever tries to coach you.
