The Internet Adjustment Formula:
IAD = ( [ADD] * .96 + [EPS] * [1/.12] ) / (1.15)
 
IAD = Internet Adjusted Distance (in yards)
ADD = Actual Driver Distance (in yards)
EPS = E-Penis Size (in inches)

So it this sucker gonna be on Golf Channel or ESPN?

For those who are not good at the internets (and if there's interest), I may post scoreboard updates from what I've gathered through social media above. No promises, but I would post here on this thread, if I am able to.

Below is the "scoreboard" we have tentatively worked out for now.

I don't want to interfere in their event in any way, so if they shut the idea of periodic scoreboard updates down, I'd get that they had reasons to.

I'll be VERY leery of posting bogus info, so if it gets confusing with the status and I lose track of the tweets, I'll let everyone know and not post any scores. I really don't want to inadvertently impact their on-course strategy if they somehow get bogus scoreboard update from me!!!!

I'm also not looking to steal anyone's thunder, so if the Newport Cup teams prefer to have one daily summary with a scoreboard, I'd respect that too.

The thought was that posting here periodically might garner more excitement. Might also be fun to review at the end to see snapshots of where the competition stood.

Periscope? It's not just iOS now, you can view on a desktop browser (not sure about mobile.) Or post vids to Instagram/Twitter. Or I guess could just look on Game Golf.

If any of ya'll have a water shot, it is required that you video and post it. :-D

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

Not to nitpick, but if we were to assume the top of the page was north, wouldn't it make sense to put West and east on there proper compass positions?

We started the day with a visit to the Pure Company. I had taken photos, but they are somewhere lost on my SD card. Hopefully, I will find them. Anyway the visit was a pleasure. We spoke with the design engineer and learned the process to develop grips. We then toured the facility, and watched the process of Pure grips being made. Pure was gracious to re-grip everyone's clubs while we were there. Many thanks to Erik, Mike and Pure Company for the tour and products. Hopefully photos to follow when found. Club Rat

      Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
