In the nets again, about 40 Mins this time. Still working on the back swing as per previous posts. Swinging at what I think is about 40% speed, making a complete movement back and through.

May 21 -

Spent 10 minutes working on my posture, backswing and transition at top. I used the glass door of a co-worker's office - everyone else is gone - as a mirror.

Checked posture both for torso tilt and leg bend, and keeping my weight off the heels and better centered.(I've been skipping gym workouts lately, and my hamstrings feel pretty tight near end of round.)

For takeaway, make sure I rotate shoulders to natural stop point about ear, and don't try to reach for extra distance with my hands (leads to OTT). Then, start downswing with forward kick of hips.

Last time I played, I didn't always brace and pivot on left leg on downswing.

Focus, connect and follow through!

Worked on my mapping and hit 10 shots in the back yard tonight in about 25-35 mins.  Im still getting some pulls but the contact on my irons is so much better than 3-4 weeks ago.  Its hard for me to make sure I get my hip turn more centered, head steady, club dropping down into plane, and working on getting the reverse C on my follow through.

Lag drill with about 60 balls into the net. Started to feel some changes out on the course today but the pattern is still shaky, some pretty bad shots and some very good shots

Golf lesson.  On video, making progress.  Still moving slightly down and in, but not as much.  Positions look good.  Good lag and impact position.  Putting from 15', good distance control.  It's a long process....

A few minutes working on my backswing, then the downswing piece. Slow swings, left arm down the toe-line more. Left arm out towards the ball in the downswing. Open hips at impact.

You know the old adage , half your shots are puts.

I wonder what the ideal practice time really is? I'm getting fond of this 18 minute number. Apparently that's the average time audiences start losing interest in a speaker. Somehow it feels right for golf I think if I could practice 18 mins per day for a year I'd be really good.

I use old Taylor Made clubs from eBay and golf shops.

I wonder what the ideal practice time really is?

For this thread, it is 5 minutes.

I took my aggression out on a Smash Bag, at home with The Punisher no less.  In between smashes, I hit some plastic balls to check against flipping.   I did it for at least 5 minutes.

The Smash Bag makes a loud noise.   My neighbors are probably speculating on what I am doing at home to make the noise.

What's the Smash Bag, and how does it help with your golf?

Went out last night so it was a little tough this morning but did my 5 minutes.

Trying to get the bowing of the left wrist while laying the shaft down at the top of my backswing to feel natural.

5 minutes in the office again.

Still working on right elbow position.

I took some video last night.  While I can do a decent job of keeping it in front of the seam on the backswing, on the downswing, it seems like it gets left behind as the hips start to turn.

Really struggling with this one.

Did some mirror work at the company gym. Checked that back hand of my left hand is facing target at impact.   I wasn't getting this right in the last few range sessions.
