Went and hit two buckets with a lot of drivers and long irons and then hit 1 bucket working on 50-90 yard wedge shots. Starting to get really good and confident with my inside 130 yard play but I need to start hitting my driver straighter. I just can't get my tempo down with my driver and because of my baseball swing I tend to stay back but I'm getting there.

Also worked on putting a lot today, I have gotten very good inside 6 feet but I just don't seem to make any 8-15 feet putts, miss 3-5 a round by a few inches.

Hit some balls while waiting for a benefit scramble to wrap up, and then played 9 holes.

It was a wild round, shot 46 (+10). Only had 13 putts!

Parred first two holes, and No. 6. So, it was three pars, a double bogie, a triple bogie, and four bogies.

Triple bogie on par 4 Fourth was a 4W through the landing area, punch back to fairway, an 8i long, three LW shots out of 6" deep rough, and an 8 foot one-putt to stop the bleeding.

No 8, a 480 yd. par 5: Hit  first drive OB, and follow up with 260-yard drive down middle. Top a 4W to 90 yards out, land a GW 12 feet from the pin and sink the putt! (This bogie could have been birdie if I kept head still on first drive.)

I am really nailing some shots with my X20 Tour irons which I reshafted last summer with NS Pro 8950 (17 grams lighter than Project X).  I just need to stay with a 3/4 swing and not try to kill the ball.

Focus, connect and follow through!

Did my 5 minutes at home today. Doing some slow downswing practice, focusing on opening my hips as I transfer forward via the motion of the left from 4-6. If anything I have a tendency to stay closed for too long, swing too far out and too shallow.

Damn... somehow I forgot to post on the first day... Oh well, I'll start today and not miss another one.

Played 18 today, shot 83.

I also did my 5 minutes at home, in the living room (no golf ball). Just made slow swings working on my backswing and then on the down swing not letting my head move forward. I also did some work with my head against the wall.

15 Min's full swing practice. 7 iron. Outside on the lawn, no ball. Looking to get the right hip pocket turning toward the target as far as my body center line as I swing from A2 to A4.

Spend time this morning getting used to the new putter I got yesterday, putting balls in the living room and getting a feel for the club and experimenting with lean or forward press or whatever it is called.

Round yester day afternoon. 18 holes. Barely hung on for the last 4 holes. Long week at work - feeling wiped out. Managed 84 from 6,600 yards. Checked A4 position this morning first thing before making coffee - without any prior thought at all to see if I am maintaining my priority. Feels like it might be becoming more a norm than having to consciously do it.

Might watch WGC for a bit in the afternoon but I am going to disconnect and give it a rest for rest of today.

Did my mine before play 18 holes. Not bad, but I can´t get rid of my slice. Tough to make good results this way...32 points.

Worked on my mapping lesson from evolvr for about 10 mins in my living room watching the wgc. Then I went outside and hit 2 balls with my sw working on tucking my butt under. I hit them both well little pushes which is what I'm working towards. The reverse C Stephan has me working on is uncomfortable to say the least. My upper body has always went forward at or after impact so trying to stay back fells odd.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
