Hey guys, guess what I did after work today? Small bucket at the range followed by some chipping. I've discovered that my range doesn't stop ball service until 9pm, and lights are on well past then. I'm going to have to plan accordingly going forward.

Hit a single bucket. I think I'm too tired to hit well. Although, the temperature was in the low 60Fs, my drives were low and short.

Did carry my 8i (~41 to 42 degree loft) to the 150 yard flag on average. Some farther some shorter. The ones that pulled tended to go farther the ones I pushed tended to fall a little shorter. Probably an 8-ish yard variation.

I also used a Leica Disto 810 and zoomed in the targeting display to hit the targets. Most of them are within an inch or two from the marked yardages from the 3rd leftmost stall. My Bushnell rangefinder is within half a yard of the Disto 810.

I also tested out two shaved down rubber tees, one to 3/8" for "tee" shots and one that is about 1/8" above the mat surface for practicing my fluffy lie fairway shots for my 3W and hybrid. The 3/8" tee is also used for my 4i,3i "tee" shots.

Mostly a rest day for me. . .

Hit a large bucket of balls at the range this morning working on priority pieces. Boy it was muggy I was drenched in sweat.

5 minutes putting before playing 18 holes on an executive course really early this morning.  (Probably will put in another 15 minutes with mat and net in backyard after work. Loving these long days of summer.)

Hit 30 balls at the range working on weight shift. I've been doing center pivot for so long that the weight shift is really hard for me. I'll get through this!

5 mins of putting practice in the living room also 5 mins of chipping and pitching.  Im definitely working on keeping my tempo nice and slow on my putts.  If I rush my backswing with my putter I have trouble controlling my distance.  Same goes for my chipping.

Played 9 holes with my son and some friends.

My drives were erratic, but got a couple good ones out there.

Indoor swings.  1/2, 3/4 and full.  Brush the carpet, hip slide and turn, elbow fold.  Trying to get the right feel back after playing 9 on Wednesday.  Hit a lot of shots left, due to tension in the grip.  Got to learn to swing on the course like I do at the range and in the net.

10 minutes mirror work. The OTT move came back again, as I can see in my slices and thin/fat shots. When I get tired, I let my arms fold back too far. Going to work on keeping my arms straight today at the range.
