10 minutes of indoor swings.  Back swing and hold.  !/2, 3/4 and full.  Brush carpet.  Hip slide/turn.  Elbow fold.

Didn't have a lot of time for golf today, but I did manage 5 minutes of mirror work on the right elbow pressure points.

My putting was much better after working on my tempo yesterday so I worked on that this morning for 5 mins or so. Then I worked on my new drill from evolvr without a club or ball.

10 minutes of slow practice in the hotel. Used video to make sure I am making the right moves throughout the swing. At least what I think are the correct moves. My muscles are still sore after I let them rest a couple days. Unless, it's from playing 18 holes of frisbee golf?:-D

10 minutes or so working on eliminating my nemisis... hitting the ball fat.

The problem with practicing on a matt is you can't tell if you hit the ball a little fat.  I came up with a low tech practice aid (see below).  Hit about 40 balls while thumping the matt and only touched the plastic gizmo twice.  This really makes me focus on key1 and key 2.

I'll try to move it closer to the ball next time and see how I can do.

Bucket of 20 at a range near a friend I'm hanging with for the weekend. Dozen on A1->A5+ (slow, getting transition right and left knee too), then a quarter dozen drivers, and then a few flighted PW shots.

I hit a nerf ball around the yard.  I worked on setting my wrists early in the back swing.  I also worked on swinging in to out.

Played 18 holes with Erik, my dad, and a friend of my dad's.

Played very well today. Had a one D-Wedge f'up and a couple pitching F-ups that cost me about 3 strokes. Besides that I kept the ball on the course with the driver and hit some solid iron shots. Happy with the results today. Also had a great time.

      I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.

      So the question was posed today by some of my friends.  Is a pitch mark the same as a divot?  I thought NO, but they argued if your ball lands in another player's divot (made by club during a swing) this was the same as a pitch mark, i.e. the ball mark made when the ball lands

      Original definition use to or still is how far offline you hit it. It might be better to think of it as consistency in retaining favorable launch conditions to optimize distance.   That heat map showed a gigantic 0-3% loss in ball speed. That is absurd. The true 100% sweet spot is tiny for all clubs. Good luck telling the difference if the sweet spot is under 3% in a sizable area. Especially considering variation in launch angle, spin, and outdoor weather.
