Joe Namath, that would be a riot. Boog Powell would be great too though, I always played first base because I loved that guy.

Over the years I've often thought of this. But in truth seeing the testosterone most of the men have I would have to pick someone off the LPGA. I would chose Natalie Gulbis because of the things I have heard about her and how she reacts to players in PRO/AMs.

You can't just say something like that without an explanation  ... as George Costanza says ... I want details, and I want them RIGHT NOW !!

i think i would like to play with any top golfer like Jordan Speith or Jason Day as long as they tell me their thought process on every shot, the entire time...their target, what kind of shot they hope to hit, etc. I would love to see their minds work, how they plan their navigation around the course, and how close they come to their goals. i think it would be very educational.

As I feel that the OP's intent was to look at a non-golfer, I'd have to say John Elway.  I've seen him play in a tournament that I refereeing for, I've watched a few shots of him at the Tahoe celeb tourney (last I knew he was a 1 or 2 handicap), and he's been known to knock back a brew or three, which fits him into my crowd quite nicely.  If I can talk him out of enough strokes, I might just be able to win a sideline or owner's box pass to a Bronco game, and that would be worth it even if there was no other reason.

It's obvious that Shanksalot has not seen Gulbus without makeup....lol  :-P   That said, playing golf with any LPGA golfer would be fun.

1.)  Kevin Millar!

Hmmm....  At this moment if I had to choose...  It would probably be Kevin Millar.  I think he played a vital role in the 2004 Red Sox WS championship with the rest of those idiots.  He helped change and create that culture that led to them winning.  (Don't give me the winning help change the culture BS either lol)...

The guy is all about keeping it fun and has a good time.  He could shoot 100, I don't care..

I don't really think I would choose a professional golfer - I would want it to be a ton of fun, and this is what those guys do every day for their job.  Yes, they may enjoy it, but would they really want to play on their off day and "goof off" on the course?

I'd have to go with LeBron James. I live about 3 miles away from him and it would likely be one of the only sports I could actually beat him at. The bragging rights of beating LBJ at any sport would become legendary.

See there is you problem. It is not about her looks but her demeanor on the course and how she interacts with the fans and the AM's she plays with during a tournament. From everything I have heard she is very gracious, funny and helpful and just exuberant on the course.

If I'm getting a chance to tee it up with an Athlete you can bet it's going to be a PGA Tour player. My dream foursome would include. John Daly. Jerry Kelly, and Pat Perez.

It would have to be a golfer...  I'm gonna say Jack.

My thoughts as well. Maybe Anika and Peyton to fill out the foursome.

I can't believe there are not too many takers for Sir Charles.   I will pick him so that I wouldn't look so bad.  I can even match his jerky swing with my own.
