Ping g30 driver and s55 irons.  I've only had them for 6 months but I really like them, the irons especially.

BTW, someone changed your handicap to 11.3. You should change it back.

I noticed that myself.  11.3 is not quite "scratch".

I play TaylorMade driver (currently playing R9 but have a couple newer) and I have TaylorMade RSi irons.

Driver, Titleist 913 D2.  Irons TaylorMade AeroBurner 4-AW.  Also AeroBurner 5W and 7W.

Since others have specified, I also carry a Titleist AP-2 710 51° wedge and a Cleveland CG-15 56° Wedge.

Driver (fairway woods, hybrids) - Nike VR Pro ii

Irons - Mizuno MP15's

There's a thread somewhere where we all list our gear...I'll go find the link (no luck, I have a terrible success rate doing searches since the move.  Thread was a "what's in the bag" kind of title, where people list the gear they apparently "sport", "rock", or "game".....as such)

I played a Titleist 907D2 until I won a Callaway XR Pro (thanks TST!)

Irons are Hogan Edge CFT from around '04 or '05, with Cleveland Halo 2h and 3h, and Vokey wedges

In my previous post I mentioned that I would soon be replacing my 8 & 9 irons. I think I have found the replacement. It would be to try to replace my 8 & 9 irons with one single club, and that would be my trusty old 9 wood. My only concern would be whether or nor I can produce the same amount of accuracy with the 9 wood seeing how it has a longer shaft than the irons. If the accuracy part works out then the only other thing I would have to do would be to regulate the amount of back swing I want to apply to a shot in order to get the desired distance. On the plus side is that if needed, I can get more distance with the 9 wood than I can with the 8 iron. That would mean that the only irons in my bag would be my trusty seven iron, my trusty PW and my 56 degree wedge. This may or may not work out for me. Won't know unless I give it a try.

    • Yes. If you choose to take the ball out of the bunker instead of taking maximum available relief… it costs a stroke.
    • I got another one today....Number 17. Par 5 that has water left and right on the layup. I smacked a drive down the left side and got a little lazy on the layup and fanned my 6 iron. With 112 to a crowned green I got it to 3 feet and birdie!  Only 5 and 15 is left for this year!
    • Maybe I didn’t explain this properly. Back and front can be confusing.  There was no place in the bunker that didn’t have 2-3 inches of rain water in it, except for a small spot on the slope nearest the pin. If I had dropped there I would be moving 6-7 feet closer to the hole. Since my ball was just inside the bunker, farthest side from the hole, I dropped one club length backward, which brought me out of the bunker. I could not have hit from that deep of water. Are you saying I would have had to take a penalty stroke due to rain water?
    • Day 550, May 5, 2024 Got a good hour in with a typical (for me) two-stick setup: pool noodle angled in front, yardstick on the ground angled 45° behind me.
    • Day 130: Cinco de Mayo Day 7/24 of Full Speed Spectrum training. Difficult training day after struggling to certify my warmup yesterday, and today. Finished 13 mph lower than my training speed on Thursday. Hope to hit some balls today.
