I told you so!!  Back on topic:. Hope I have some time to watch a little golf this weekend. Going out to hack it up tomorrow morning. See if I can hit my dented 5 wood off the deck or if only works when practicing.

Last weekend I did not put one ball in the water but that's because the course I played has no water hazards.

I was hoping Rory would shoot 62 but he played it too safe on 9.  Course looks like it's playing really easy, too easy for the 4th major.

You could tell it in Rory's face that he wasn't happy about laying up on 9.  He lost focus on his wedge shoot and chunked it.  Then another poor finesse wedge shot.  

He should have gone for the eagle and -11 under.

The thing that most amuses me about that is the fact that the water around the green is only like a foot deep.  Maybe it's silly of me, but I have always imagined that it was really deep around there.  Guess not.

I know at least one member here who could play from that lake.  (Not me, of course)

I have heard the players call it the 5th Major. So which on of the other 4 do you not consider a Major?

Or, his swing fault is not fixed yet. Why does everyone just assume it's a mental thing?

None. It's not the 5th major. I wouldn't switch out any of the other majors for this one. Not by a long shot.

I like him. He's one of the Pros I would like to play a round with. Seems very amiable and down to earth. He is also a sneaky good player.
