This was making the rounds on reddit. Some wondered whether the rollers were filled with water/heavy enough.

I can't find the one with the Titleists being crushed by a hydraulic press, but there's this:

Nice Vine. Only problem is, that ball's now so out of round it's unlikely to fly anywhere near straight. From an everyday definition of the term, golf balls are durable, but that's because they're designed to get hit at upwards of 100mph, fly through the air, land on whatever's underneath them, then be playable again for the next shot. However, the aerodynamics of the golf ball requires that ball to be pretty much perfect, so it actually doesn't take much to relegate a ball that's still round and in one piece to the shag bag.

I've seen that video before and thought it was pretty impressive.

Filled with water or not, still a lot of weight coming from all that steel.  I suspect the PSI is quite a bit lower than the press.

Both video's are pretty cool though

      Day 5 - 2024-10-05 Hit some somewhat soft pitching wedges. The outside and inside, particularly the outside of the left thumb where my right hand goes on it, is still pretty sore. I don't think I'll do more damage, but I'm reluctant to do too much because I don't want to compensate or alter my motion.

      Day 156 (05 Sep 24) - Played new to me course today, it’s near our beach place and have been wanting to play it for a couple of years now.  It’s a neat Par 70 that plays just over 6k from the tips, played the whites 5,500 +/-.  Tight fairways and severely undulating greens made for some great shot strategy.  Wound up with an even 80 that included two lost ball penalties.  Putter was solid - 28 total.  Wedge play kept the pars happening - 6 of the 9 pars were up and downs.  Not bad for the first time on a new course.
