40% straighter? Sounds fishy to me but it's USGA conforming.

Seems counter-intuitive to me.  I would assume that these would, if anything, increase side-spin.  I don't think grooves matter much at all on drivers, though, so it's probably fairly negligible either way.

I figured it out!...the vertical grooves are supposed to provide optical/directional guidance to the ball...  Now, the ball will fly too high or too low (vertical variance) on mishits instead of right or left (lateral variance)! It is absolute genius. I am going to order me 5 while they are still cheap..:dance:

Grooves don't do anything on a driver.
