I'm going to say everyone on the Tour would get pissed, what differs is how the deal with it and how they express themselves

Tried to view the link, but it was taking forever and a day to load and I lost patience.

I can appreciate Spieth's feelings along this line. Nothing tries my patience more on the course than slobs who don't know how or can't be bothered to rake a bunker or repair a ball mark! They are hillbillies who just happen to play golf.

Of course that's not what made Spieth shoot 75 today to miss the cut. Not being able to hit fairways will do that to you. Especially at Sawgrass!

Leaderboard isn't very exciting but at least it's close. Hopefully a tight competition will make up for the lack of star power.

The Players Championship traditionally brings a lot of unfamiliar names on the leaderboard but the champions list is very impressive. Usually the cream rises to the top by the end of Sunday.

I don't even care much about the winner. I just like to see more big names in contention, whether or not they raise the trophy.

The Players is not the tournament for that. Just look at DJ...never finished Top 25 at TPC and it's probably not happening this year, either. It's a quirky course. Every year with this tournament you get a lot of unfamiliar names sprinkled in with a few big ones.

Well, I look forward to the next Craig Perks tomorrow.

Yeah, just look at what Sawgrass did to John Rahm today!

Luckily I benched him for Sergio!

I think we have just heard the most horrifying line of commentary ever on the PGA Tour live coverage.

After Day backs off for the 3rd time:

"If only ever club golfer would consider their shot as much as Jason Day. Most club golfers would just step up and whack it."

I can't think of a worse piece of advice for any club golfer... he was essentially just hacking out as he couldn't reach the par 5 in two. ARGH!

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

What's in the bag: Callaway X2 Hot Driver, Titleist 915F 3 wood, X2 Hot 3 Hybrid, 3, 5-AW Apex Pro irons, 54*, 58* Cleveland RTX, Odyssey Versa 1 Putter

I don't think so. I think Sergio or Oosthuizen will walk off with the win. I'm just hoping for an exciting finish kinda like 2015.

How have so many great champs won this tournament if this course produces random unknown names on leaderboard? That is a made up narrative.

I love JB's response to winning this. He said it doesn't make much of a difference. If he wins he will live in same house and drive same car. If he loses he will live in same house and drive same car.

Total joke that they gave him a pass on horrendous slow play.

I'm still waiting for them to ding a big name like Day.  That would please me to no end.

Not too familiar with See Woo Kim. Does anyone know anything about this kid? Was he a prodigy growing up? He sure is putting on a show so far today. Unreal.

So i hope i am not the only one actually rooting for Ian Poulter.....   I'd love to see him snap off this tourny

Also like Merion, TPC Sawgrass isnt super long, yet still plays tough as nails....  so it's not like every course ( on tour ) has to be 7500+

It is what it is

I'd love to see an Ian Poulter snap in this tourney too. A snap hook, perhaps. Or Ian snapping at a photographer who had the temerity to snap Ian in action. Or maybe an alligator snapping at Ian's ball as it lands in the drink.

Si Woo Kim, I don't know you from Adam. But good luck, son. May you par or birdie every remaining hole.

    • Day 85 - Played 9. Driver was solid, approach shots were pushed, chipping/pitching was better, putting was rough.
    • Day 514, March 28, 2024 Quick ten minutes while waiting for the wife to come home for our trip.
    • Day 262: did a stack session. Worked on rehearsal swings during rest breaks.
    • It's been a little more than a year since I can last remember hitting golf balls and today I just got my second cortisone injection in 11 months. I thought maybe shortly after the first injection I was going to be able to start playing again with therapy but the pain while doing my backswing past halfway just didn't subside like just lifting my hands up in the air did. So today the Orthopedic surgeon put more in the backside of the shoulder than before to address the tendon more. I'm going to try therapy for another 3 months and if I  can't swing the club without pain then I think surgery is going to be my next option.
    • I was just down visiting family in southern California and we played a couple rounds of golf. I hit my ball into the deep rough near some tree's and my cousin's husband offered me his Sim 2 Rescue Hybrid to try out. And I felt the same way, wow! I loved it, it also had a Pure DTX grip on it which I loved. As soon as I got back home, I ended up buying two used Calloway Rogue X hybrids, 3 and 5. So far I've only tested them out at the range, but I love them. They're much more forgiving than irons for me.
