I don't necessarily believe it but the "flat earthers" intrigue me. Part of me says that I believe "what they told me." Every school has a globe in it. I've never actually seen anything but pics of a round earth so I am going by what they told me.... so if they told me it was flat since kindergarten, I guess I would think it was flat. Math says it is round and I believe in math.

I'll also add that the pentagon was never hit by an airplane at all.

My son joined the Flat Earth Society Facebook site just for laughs. He sent me some diagrams "supporting" their theories. Pretty funny stuff.

But you bring up a good point. Many people accept things as fact simply because everyone else does.

The only credibility I'll give conspiracy theorists is that our government has done some really crappy things in my lifetime. So the idea that they (the government) would make up some stupid story to coverup something else is well within the realm of possibility.
