Looking to find a new video game soon.

I am doing chores for 10-15 minutes, then pausing to practicing my golf swing in the mirror for 10-15 minutes.

Also have my phone (YouTube) linked to the tv and binge watching No Laying Up’s “Tourist Sauce” series.

This is probably better suited for other sports or grill room, but I am not a sports watcher, so my life is business as usual except not going out as much.

I listen to them all the time, but never really watched their content (only their Europe trip).

This is all first watch for me, it’s almost like live sports!

Hung out all day at the Cocoa Beach Country Club. Was given a Rocky Patel Freedom cigar, donated one golf ball to the dolphins, came home and cooked on the grill while listening to the Cigar Dave show, and counted my stock of TP.

Went to the grocery (Kroger) this evening. It was way less crowded than expected (20 cars in the lot at 10:30). They had everything that I needed, including TP (they maybe had 10 packages left), but most aisles were fairly bare compared to normal. Being able to see the back of the shelf is not something I am used to seeing, and it reminds me how nice it is to have a fully stocked store on a regular basis, where there are some countries that don't have that. The biggest bummer of the evening was finding out that they are going to restricted hours on Monday, opening an hour later (from 5 to 6) and closing 4 hours earlier (from 1 am to 9 pm). I have always been a night shopper to avoid crowds, and it is sad to see that luxury go.

I fired up some old Masters final rounds on youtube. Currently just watching 1983 (Seve wins) in the background. It doesn't seem too exciting so far.

Yeah, let's see.  At-home entertainment, gonna watch some old Masters on YouTube (I see someone else already said that), some football reruns (I have a tape of the 1947 NFL championship, haven't watched that in a while), ...

I see video games too.  I never got more than about 2-3 hours into Red Dead Redemption, I keep meaning to.  Plus I didn't finish my playthrough of Tiger Woods 2012, the whole reason I have an Xbox 360 in the first place.

I might get some reading done.  I meant to read that book about how to watch hockey, maybe I'll actually get through more than two chapters.

I was doing well with the gym going (hit my previous best at the bench even), but I am told it's not good to go to the gym these days?  I don't know.

Maybe I'll get back into outdoor biking.

I hope they stay open.  Playing tomorrow, going to sign up for a tournament too.

Thankfully I have my indoor range at home so I can keep up the practice if they close the golf courses.

Sand trapping, and watching old sports. Watched Game 5 of the Bulls-Cavs series from 1989 again.

    • The term I hear most often is "double teeing" which means the course/club has starting times from both the #1 and #10 tee.  I have encountered this many times and we know if we are the first group off #10, we may well get to #1 and have to wait because there are groups still with tee times yet to tee of #1.  In most instances, where the course/club has a starter, he normally explains this situation.  In this case, the pro advised what you would could/would encounter making the turn to #1.  And, that is exactly what happened.  Probably would have been wise to talk to the pro after playing back 9 and ask when you could go off #1 since apparently that club does not double tee.   Regardless, the outburst towards the other group was uncalled for.  And, I don't blame the member for being upset.  As a member of a private club, you are responsible for the actions of your guest.  I have played many times as a guest in the UK and I am pretty damn sure my host was responsible for my actions while at the club.  I know at the clubs I have belonged to here in the US, that is the way it is.  As a matter of fact, the member may find himself being brought before management and facing possible suspension.  So, I don't blame him for being upset.  However, as the host, he really should have stepped up and put a stop to the OP's actions.  OP makes this statement "I now understand that standards are different on the "private course." But I'll take those lessons to the muni, too."  No, the standards are not different.  You, sir, seem to be just a bit hard headed and belligerent, even if you are college professor...which possibly explains a lot.   JMHO
    • Day 32: worked for about 10 minutes on my drill. Filmed it as well for a check in. I think it’s slightly better but still seeing some issues.
    • Day 44 (26 Dec 25)  -  played in the Friday men’s shootout with a twist - used the Toney Penna persimmons and MacGregor blades - had a blast playing these clubs.  They really help in zoning in on making solid ball contact.  Scoring was solid - had several looks at birdie and had a few par saves.  Overall a day of focused course management.
    • Day 2: 2025.12.27 Eighteen holes at Kauri Cliffs. Focusing on trying to keep flex in right leg during backswing.
    • Day 136 12-26 Had a different practice planned today but life happened. Worked on "wide to wide" and still working on remaining flowy. Starting the club head in front of the ball as a drill, is helping with the flow of the swing.
