I watched the whole video out of curiosity, but this guy has a different definition of fun than I do.

I would enjoy playing with this club if (and only if) it argued with me.

"Hal...let's have a 9 iron."

"I'm sorry Dave...I can't do that."

"Why the hell not?"

"Data suggests a 7 iron.  I have configured the club head thusly."

"Thusly?  Do computers say "Thusly

"On occasions when it is appropriate...yes."

"Well I think a 9 iron is appropriate in this situation."

"The data suggests otherwise...sir."

Did you notice it had a wife mode?

I saw parts of his basketball backboard video. Apparently he likes to mess with his wife.

And I thought I had a lot of time on my hands to fiddle with clubs ...

This raises the bar way too high for ME ...

If it could only figure out "how to adjust to avoid chunks"  I would be SOLD ... LOL

Would never use it, but give him a lot of credit for the engineering of it.

Is it even legal?

Doesn't the rule say you cannot change the characteristic of a club during a given round?  It's the reason why you cannot change your adjustable driver during a round.

I think there is an exception in the new rules for robotic clubs with digital displays.

    • Tiger’s walking at the PNC and people say he’s not limping.
    • I haven't heard much of anything about it. Faux leather, sure. Biodegradable leather? No. No idea. You're a bit too new, still, to post links.
    • Okay, I'm genuinely curious about this "biodegradable leather" trend in golf. Are we talking snake oil here? I mean, golf balls, clubs... they all end up in the water eventually. Is this just greenwashing, or is there actually a real environmental benefit? And honestly, does it even perform as well as traditional leather? I don't want to sacrifice distance for the planet, you know? Anyone with real-world experience with these eco-friendly golf goods? Spill the tea!
