$6 for a water? That should be illegal and is certainly immoral.

Aside from all that, it is pretty stupid.

Looks like it will be 91 degrees on Thursday down there. You are just asking for a couple of cases of heat-stroke. I'd think you'd make water available just to avoid a lawsuit.

Are you allowed to bring your own water with you?  If they say no outside beverages, then try to charge you $6 per bottle on a 90+ degree day, thats criminal...

A little different story if you're allowed to bring your own water in with you, but certainly a ridiculous price

On the website, in a number of places it says you may bring one unopened bottle of water.  There's no size limit mentioned.  There's no mention of refilling stations.

I wonder if there will be some gentle ribbing. Dude. Where’s your Master’s jacket. I looked all over I couldn’t find it.

Take mobile draft to the next level with the JetKeg Keg Backpack. Fit up to a 5-gallon homebrew keg or sixtel sanke keg in the backpack, strap it on, and cruise the party dispensing delicious...

Sadly, it does say only water.  Somewhere else it says no alcoholic beverages.  And 5 gallons of beer weighs nearly 40 pounds, no way am I carrying that!

Good decision and reasoning from him. Cited his wrist saying it wouldn’t hold up, and wanting to give someone else a chance to play that is healthy and ready to go.

Pity about Bryson withdrawing.  Hopefully he will be ready for US Open 16 - 19 June and British Open 14 - 17 July.  St Andrews will be a good fit for his game.  The English golf fans are keen to see Bryson.  22/1 with British bookmakers to win the St Andrews Open.

Brooks Koepka, playing with Lowry and Scott, is 33/1 in UK to win the US PGA.  Could he do well?

I can only put it down to recency bias that Bryson has such better odds than Brooks.  After all, Brooks has won multiple majors and isn't exactly a short hitter

What's in the bag

  • Taylor Made r5 dual Draw 9.5* (stiff)
  • Cobra Baffler 4H (stiff)
  • Taylor Made RAC OS 6-9,P,S (regular)
  • Golden Bear LD5.0 60* (regular)
  • Aidia Z-009 Putter
  • Inesis Soft 500 golf ball

Sorry, I was not clear in my post.

US PGA :

Bryson DeChambeau - withdrawn (struggling with his Left wrist).

Brooks Koepka - 33/1

British Open - St Andrews :

Bryson DeChambeau - 22/1

Brooks Koepka - 16/1

However, trusting Bryson's left wrist is recovered, I'm backing Bryson to win at St Andrews.  His game is made for St Andrews.  With the Driver, he is as close a replica to Jack Nicklaus as any current professional.  Jack Nicklaus overpowered St Andrews twice - 1970 and 1978.  Bryson DeChambeau is probably better with the driver, than even 'The Bear.'

Also, John Daly over powered St Andrews to win in 1995.

A fit Bryson DeChambeau should win at St Andrews 2022.
