Okay, fashion and color coordination are not anywhere in my skillset.  But what's wrong with them?

But no pleats or cuffs. He gets points there.

Boy, of all the things I was looking for during the broadcast, this was nowhere on the radar.  But to each his own!

Well....he’s a nice kid. But reality? He had a pretty nice upbringing. Country club golf, entire family excelled at sports, had every resource he needed to pursue his dream and enormous talent.

I’d like to see him win for sure. But I don’t really have a soft heart for him.

Yeah, same here.  I like him just fine.

Dustin Johnson laid up last year, IIRC. Tiger did, from 204, too.

I heard that's a pattern among guys named Johnson who want to win at Augusta... ;-)

Kuch is just a good trash talker but friendly. He’s way too ‘ aw golly shucks’ to win a major. He doesn’t have that killer competitor edge when a big moment is there. He’s good a plucking off Sony open type tournaments. He’s not major material.

He has always reminded me of Goofy.

Rose is doing swing rehearsals while waiting to play. Looks like he's searching for a feel. And he's leading!

He's been doing that for years. I second what @saevel25 said. I encourage my players to do this throughout the round, too, keep exaggerating it.

After reading what you both wrote, I now remember him doing that in the past. I guess it's not a new thing for him. It feels unusual because you don't see other players doing it, but that just might be because we don't see them standing in the fairway waiting to hit on TV.

Anyone else watching online at the Masters.com?  I never really went into the online version more than watching the featured groups or the bundle of holes they show, but you can watch every shot hit by any player, by clicking on that player and selecting the hole you want to watch. And they will show you each of their shots plus a track of each of the shots, pretty awesome.

So I'm fascinated with what Bryson is doing as it relates to bulking up and applying serious analytics to golf.  However, let's assume that over time he ends up bludgeoning traditional golf courses to dust.  What's the overall point of doing that? Of course it's a challenge to him but then what becomes the next challenge? If you listened to Bryson's pressers at the Masters, lots of young golfers are asking him for advice on bulking up and persuing more power.  To what end?

Is Jordan really back?  He lucked out on the first round by holing out that eagle chip, but more importantly, is his game officially back?  I would say not quite.  He's still missing fairways and were not for his chipping and putting, he'd be out of the mix.

And Rory.  Man I wish he would get his head together.  He's got the best swing on tour, but you'd never know it, given how he struggles at times (especially at the Masters).  These guys go through swing overhauls, AFTER they've won a major championship!  What the hell?

Apparently Rory's troubles in the last year are all to do with chasing further distance after Bryson won that US Open by out driving everyone.  Not like he was short to begin with but he got even longer.  The problem is it affected his swing plane and all his current issues stem from that.  I reckon he will be back to his best soon with a few tweaks.  I can even see him winning a major this year.

Augusta's greens were stimping close to 15 yesterday, looks like the slowed them down just a touch today.

They were not, no.

15 is nearly impossible. They were 12.5, maybe 13. Tops.
