Didn't @iacassay here, multiple times IIRC, to setup left of center? Maybe there wasn't enough room though. That looked like it hurt. Comments said stitches and slight concussion. I guess I would pad that corner to prevent it from happening again. Dude in the video, I laughed, I admit it and I'm sorry I did at your expense, but man, that was funny.

Yeah, ouch, no kidding. 

Did that a few years ago. Was alone at home in the backyard hitting in to the net on a weekend afternoon. Took the ricochet square on the nose bridge, blacked out for a about 30 seconds (I think). IIRC, this was an IZZO net and the ricochet was off a black tie strip running across the net that wasn't as shock absorbent as it should be. 

Got up all woozy and wobbly, tried to open door to go inside the house, blacked out again when tried to focus on finding the door handle, fell in the flower garden next to the door, came about after what I guessed must have been a few minutes, managed to get inside the house laid on the couch for an hour and then was ok. The nose bruise spread across the cheeks below the eyes where it lived a few weeks.

I explained well meaning/concerned/inquiring folks what happened but I am sure some made their own assumptions..😁

Wow, glad you're alright and didn't suffer any long term consequences.

So dumb. Middle of the ball (target line), middle of the net (or even slightly left of that).

When I first saw the thread title w/o the video I was going to post, "Pics or it didn't happen".   I bet that guy would hope it didn't happen!   That looked painful...

Yeah, I slowed it down. You could pad it. Maybe cut a pool noodle in half or something.
