So that's $5, and so maybe everyone can just kick in $25:

  • $5 front (best ball net 80% score)
  • $5 back (best ball net 80% score)
  • $5 total (best ball net 80% score)
  • $5 net skins (same 80% handicap)
  • $5 CTP (first group out has some special markers with enough space to write the name)

Yes, that's it. The three individual competitions - front, back and overall are great for big groups. 

The $25 set up sounds like a winner as long as no one has a strong aversion to it.

At $25… And $5 for all bets, I'd do it like this… And we'll just assume that we have 22 with @dennyjones just adding to skins if he can play.

22 players is 11 teams… so…

Skins

  • $110/(# of skins) [$110 = 22 * $5]

Nassau (Teams)
$110 * 3 (FBT) but divided up this way:

  1. $20 / $20 / $70
  2. $10 / $10 / $60
  3. -- / -- / $50
  4. -- / -- / $40
  5. -- / -- / $30
  6. -- / -- / $20

CTP
$22 each. Or $23 if @dennyjones is in.

That's just off the top of my head. Feel free to make changes, offer suggestions, etc. I tried to distribute $330 fairly. If you win the front or the back, it seems likely you might win the overall. But even if you sweep, that's $110, which is 1/3 of the pot, which kinda feels fair, too. Maybe?

I never play to my handicap at the beginning of the season, with or without injury.

LAST CALL, if interested in Saturday May 20th at Little Mountain in Ohio I need to know by April 15th so I know whether or not to "give back" a tee time so the course can accommodate others.

I hope that there are no cancelations but I can accommodate cancelations to April 30th.  (to be honest, May 5th is the date I need to give a final count but I do not like to be a "Last Minute Guy".)

Looking forward to seeing you on the 20th.

Dude, I would love to…but I’m gonna be at the lake with the family that weekend. We just got a new jetski and wakeboarding tower for the boat and the I’ll be pulling the boys around the lake all weekend. I appreciate the invite though and would definitely keep the carpool idea in mind in the future

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
