Let's go with "you're late and need sleep." It's a logic problem, not how it would work in the real world.

My wife sometimes asks me if I want "peas or corn" and I often answer "yes" when I want one or the other because, logically, TRUE || FALSE is the same as FALSE || TRUE. Then she asks me if I want "peas xor corn." :)


I understood "the logic" just fine. It's just funny when it collides with the real world with endless scenarios.

(BTW my dad always told me to say yes when my mom asked if I wanted milk or tea).

Well my laptop keyboard has evidently blown up and I'm having to type this with the on-screen keyboard. Too tedious me. :-(

How have I missed this thread ask this time? "Your" in place of "you're", a lot of the time from otherwise intelligent people, is one of my biggest pet peeves. That being said, I do fall victim of Swype at times.

IAD = ( [ADD] * .96 + [EPS] * [1/.12] ) / (1.15)
 
IAD = Internet Adjusted Distance (in yards)
ADD = Actual Driver Distance (in yards)
EPS = E-Penis Size (in inches)

I don't really think there was any reason to point out it wasn't racist.  That kinda defeats the purpose :-)

Anyway, I do believe that is an English thing.  In America it would be "axe".  Can I axe you a question?  Probably has to do with the difference in accents and enunciation.

I agree not everyone strokes everyone the same way and they don't see the same things and that is why they shouldn't rely just on what they see.. I don't really think the grain has that much impact on putting.

I just saw a picture on TV of a guy in front of the White House in a Haz Mat suit with a sign stating, "Stop the flights!" There haven't been any direct flights from West Africa in quite a while. I thought the issue was restricting travel.

Lot's of stupid people out there trying to increase the fear level.

I like the flashlight, string, swiss ball and driveway reflectors.  The toothpaste is a total waist of money.  That stuff is expensive.

You don't want to waist your money. Unless you have a fanny pack or those belt money holder thingies used by travelers. :)
