I'm in. I am in high school so I usually get a few hours of practice in/a round 5-6 days a week but why not add in some work at home on my off day/days. I need to work on my driver and get it to where it fades just a little, I still slice it occasionally way too much instead of my power fade.

Anybody have any chipping drills I could do at home?

I'm predicting a lot of good golf in April!

I played spottily good golf in March, but really need to solidify this swing. Might need a lesson too, if I can't figure things out myself. . .

After today's round, I decided to switch gears to practicing my pitching. I think I have a good idea on what's going on, and I'm going to keep practicing it everyday until I don't have to think about it anymore.

I'm in. Although sometimes I have no idea what I'm looking for or what should be changed.

Especially when looking at a mirror, everything looks fine to me when I look at a mirror but I know I have to be doing 4 billion things wrong.

Did one hour of half & full swing practice today.  More importantly, I took my punisher to the range and hit some solid shots without breaking my ribcage.   But with real clubs, I think I am still flipping 1/2 of the time.   Did some air swinging in front of a mirror at my company's gym, too.

I've been doing home/not at a range no ball practice throughout winter. Can't sleep, so just spent 10 minutes working on shallow shaft move and better hip motion while watching TV. I have fo & dtl mirrors setup so I can see both views at once. Recent swing change requires much more aggressive motorcycle rev/shaft shallowing move around A4-ish.

Did five minutes at home last night with a wedge while watching the women play their first major of the year.

Off to a slow start, at home practice wise this month, but I'll turn it around. Went to the range wednesday, a birthday party Thursday, a Passover Seder then a 4 hour car ride yesterday and I'm playing today. I will make it up though!!

A little late, but I'm in. I watched a video from Hank about 3 weeks ago, he recommended that you swing a club anywhere from 10 to 100 times as often as possible. I tried it, but I think anything over 5 mins, or even 10 mins, is going over board. I had a Big problem taking my clubs back way to far inside, and we all know what happens on the down swing when you do that.... :pound: ...The big S word...so having slowly practiced w/o a ball, I very seldom hit those nasty S's... :-D

I have been kind of doing this during the offseason.

Not every day and but with a specific focus of trying to work on Key #2.

I am definitely up for the challenge!

I definitely join this thread. I think is a really good idea, and from today on I´m going to change my training ways because I know that I´m doing something wrong at the moment since I don´t feel any improvement during the las months.

However, I need someone to tell me what indoor exercise should I do to fix which I think is my biggest flaw at the moment:

as you can see in the image below, at the start of my bs, I place the club so inside, behind my hands, and thus, the grip is pointing to the right. At the top of de backswing, my grip is not pointing the ball, it just point somewhere out of it...:

...

any good exercise to fix it and I will be repeting it 10 or 15 minutes a day at home everyday... Thanks, and keep the good work!

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
