Pretty lousy weather rout today so I've got the hitting net set up in the garage. Really starting to feel a groove with the movements I'm working on.

Been doing my 5 minutes of mirror work before bed. My focus has been the backswing body motion (taking out some extension of the spine while keeping my hips forward)

Did more anti-flipping drills mixed with full swing at home & range.  Taking more and larger divots with full swing.  I hit more balls with piercing & lower (vs high balooning type) trajectory.   Slow mo video shows the point between my arm and club are straight at impact.   I.e, hands are not flipping but is not ahead of club head at impact.  It is even with it.  More work to be done for sure.

I'd say I am flipping only about 30% of the time, mostly with longer clubs.  When I flip with hybrids & 3w, I tend to top it.   The slight problem is my home practice set up does not allow me to take full  swing with longer clubs.

While practicing, my background noise was CNN ... depressing.   Going back to music next time.  CCR is always good.

Been doing my daily practice of at least 10 to 15 minutes of slow swings. I'm working on not straightening my left leg at impact and continuing to work on a good hip slide. It's translating into my full speed swings.

Working on the takeaway and the backswing, keeping my head steady every day at home. And in the range, I have selected some of the 5SK videos to achieve the #1 and #2 keys. I need to improve fast, and reach 16 this june. Keep working.

Continuing to do my 5+ a day. I'll post the swing updates in my swing thread, as my practice mostly consists of what Mike has me working on.

After playing 9 after work and hitting my driver terribly all weekend, I did 5 minutes in front of the mirror focusing on getting into a good position at impact doing slow swings.

Worked on hip motion this morning. Forward, left and up, squeeze butt, extend arms. And watching Sasho MacKenzie and Chris Como.

I did mine on the course today (yesterday). Today (actually today) I'm going to do it before or after a lesson I have.

I wish I kept a club in the office, or maybe one of those small weighted clubs so I can take a 5 minute break during the day.

Did mine last night just before bed.  5 minutes in my living room working on TWO things:  My priority piece and not hitting the ceiling with a 7 iron. ;)

Just slowly making backswings to match the green line in the top left picture here (using my reflection in the window as a guide) and then trying to feel my right shoulder staying in front of me (pretty sure that's what Erik means ;)) at the transition.

Will keep doing the same thing each night.
