Some chipping and pitching practice around the practice green. Focused on softening up the wrists a little bit because I felt I had been getting a bit too handsy around the greens.

Worked on this drill for about 20 minutes inside with practice balls.

Practiced outdoors for about 45 minutes today. For at least 5 minutes I worked on loading #3 less (rotation of the lead arm) on the takeaway, hit it well.

Spent a little over half an hour on short chips -- ones where there's just enough rough that I can't putt, but not enough to travel that I'm taking my wedge back all the way to A2. Three balls at a target, putted out, didn't record data (but made enough saves I was happy). I [i]think[/i] I did every day in May. There were about a half dozen days where, if the challenge wasn't going on, I probably wouldn't have practiced, but did. Whether or not that's the point of this I don't know. There were probably a few other days where I was in such a rhythm from practicing that I wanted to go the next day, but might not have if I hadn't gotten into the rhythm from this challenge. Looking forward to June. Great idea putting this together Erik.

Having said that this has been the most productive month and a half of improvement in a loooong time. Not sure if I can sustain it but finally broken in to single handicap number this month for the first time in my life!!! :beer:
