Im impressed with Danica cause she competes with men and has won

Women who compete with other women and are the best in their sport are not neccessary competitive with men.

Tennis is one example.

I thought Serena Williiams might be top player in men circuit but I was wrong.

Good for them! An outstanding accomplishment! It remains though, that while a very few individuals may be up to the challenge, the genders cannot compete equally.

I'll agree with that. However it's possible that much of what we view as differences are self-imposed, either through our own perceived limitations or those society has imposed over centuries of gender-norming. The fact is no one thought these women could meet the established standard, but they out-performed many of the men. I'd rate it up there with Michelle Wie had she made the cut at Colonial back in the day (2003 or 2004 IIRC).

Everything I've seen on this indicates that the standards were not lowered for these ladies. If that's true, and I assume it is, I say Bravo, they must be some bad ass chicks. I have no problem with them going into combat alongside their fellow Rangers. FYI, it was Annika at The Colonial that year.

That's right. Wie missed the cut at the Sony by one shot a few years later. Same point though. As for standards, best info I've heard is that they were enforced across the board more strictly in this class than is usual due to the level of scrutiny on the "standards." This seems to be confirmed by the overall lower than average pass rate among male candidates.

I don't agree with this. On the individual level yes, you're going to find women who excel at sports over men, but as a group, there are real physical differences between the genders that prevents women from competing on the same level as men. You can just look at Olympic disciplines as an example. Men and women compete in a lot of the same events, yet the men outperform the women.

Something with a little more finesse a women would beat men as a group, the only one I can think of off hand is: synchronized swimming... Yes it is an Olympic Sport... The ball Sport women probably would give men a run in is: Dodgeball... (I know guys quick reflexes... When I played in a Dodgeball league, it was mostly co-ed, but one team was all girls and they won the championship ...

Sorry but this isn't even close dude. Men could beat women easily in both of those too. Just because something is done primarily by women doesn't mean that they are better. Make ballerinas are higher skilled than females if you compare the best to the best. Same with gymnastics. And the make dodgeball teams must have sucked because I've never seen a male team that can rival my dodgeball skills, let alone women.

I think scoring includes that as well. Men are usually better at things that require power and speed. I definitely don't want to see men in a tutu. :-P

Men could be just as graceful or more due to muscle mass and control over their bodies. We just don't want to watch it so we assume women are more graceful.

Just look at male dancers. They can be very graceful.

I'll buy your assessment on Dodgeball, in general, but a women's synchronized swimming team and a men's synchronized swimming team would be relatively equal, for two main reasons. 1) Yes, synchronized swimming does require strength and speed, but it's more stamina than anything, because with the constant change of direction that a synchronized swimming team would face... Men would have a distinct advantage in this category... 2) Women for whatever reason communicate in unison better than men do, trust me I know, 80% of the staff where I work are women, There is aton of communication in synchronized swimming... The OP asked in what Sport(s) could women equal men... My vote is synchronized swimming... It didn't say what Sport could a woman kick the hell out of a man...

But again SS is a subjective sport really. Looking better isn't really the main idea here. Diving came to mind. Are there any dives the men do that the women can't? Kind of subjective again.....damn, I'm thinking there just isn't one.
