be careful, this forum aka is The TIger Woods Forum.com.....anything conceived as negative or facetious will get you banned

If that were true, you'd've been banned a long time ago. Father Time would be my best guess. If anyone can turn back the clock it'd be Tiger, but we all lose to the again process eventually.

JMHO, but if I were in his shoes, and wanted to continue to play PGA golf, I would just start playing on my own, and find my own swing. Do like the old erohw does. Do the best he can with the tools he's got.

Years ago he  kept preaching that he wanted to own his own swing, like Hogan and others who have been very successful on the PGA tour. With all the different instructors, it would seem to me to be near impossible for him to own his own swing at this point.

Then again if I were in his shoes, with all his money, I would buy a little out of the way golf course, and just kick back, play every day, and ignore my previous handlers, and the media.

I think this week a successful week would just be to make the cut, even though I thought I'd never say that about tiger. I guess times have changed.

The problem is that he's not banging other people's wives. He was the best in the world when he was sleeping with a steady arsenal of waitresses, escorts, and socialites. I think he needs to start that again.

I'd wager that very few escorts are wives.

Really all of this could be discussed in this thread here:

http://thesandtrap.com/t/79927/the-tiger-woods-retirement-thread

Tiger is not going to retire. He has sponsors that have put their faith in him and I am sure he feels at least a little obligation to support them. Second, his back may or may not be worse than he is letting on and may mean he needs a season or two to completely recover. Either way I agree with many of the others, 5-7 years before he goes anywhere.

Where did this come from Rick? We rarely ban people (a lot less than other sites) and we've NEVER banned anyone for hating on Tiger.

As others have said, you dislike Tiger more than anyone and you're still posting.

If tiggs joined the Champions Tour tomorrow. He is still is not going to compete with Benard, Monty, Jeff and a host of others.

Yeah you really can't compete anywhere if you can't keep it in play and hit greens.

I give it up to @Aguirre to explain Rick's hatred of Tiger.
Who else thinks Tiger banged this Rick Martin guy's wife?
he doesnt play enough..... untill he starts playing every other week ( at a min ) he wont be back to even competing form....  it doesnt matter how much you practice or play on certain courses..... playing in competition is totally different......

I've been saying the same thing for a quite some time. Tiger need to play more tournaments. Even if his shots on the range is really good, it will not translate into tournament play until he gets comfortable under tournament conditions. He has not had enough "pressure" situations of tournament play to be comfortable with his swing. That in its nutshell is his problem-IMHO.

What an incredibly stupid comment-You are not banned. You have made repeated negative comments about TW and you are still here to post this drivel. So you are a liar and it does not even take much knowledge to know that. Plus it is perceived not conceived. You clearly have not been banned for repeated instances of stupidity either.

this.

Plus he's swinging too hard.    I would like to see him develop a more control game rather than trying to regain his youthful power game now that he's aging.    A drive 285 on the fairway is better than 310 in somebody's backyard ...

I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere in the Tiger threads here, but I do wonder whether his Nike contract will have a role to play in Tiger's future decisions.

I tried to find out when his current deal expires, but details are obscure...

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2013-07-17/tiger-woods-signs-fourth-golf-endorsement-contract-with-nike

"Woods’s agent, said...that he expected [the] contract to keep the 14-time major tournament winner with the company for the rest of his career and leave him as Nike’s highest-paid golf endorser."

Did Nike give him a 20 year deal or something?

If not, I wonder what the effect of that would be? When his contract expires would they just give him another one, for old time's sake, I wonder? It would be hard to imagine Tiger Woods with any other equipment sponsor than Nike.

Yeah, I'd be curious about what he'd say to that at this point (and even more curious about what he thinks about it at this point). If you want to own your swing you can't go through four or five versions of it. Just not gonna happen.
