Excellent spreadsheet analysis. I believe my data would plot similarly.

It wouldn't surprise me if most of people who spend a lot of time on the forum are.

I'm definitely an introvert. That is one of the challenges for me about golf - trying to talk to people for 4 or 5 hours while keeping a positive attitude as my ball does random crap.

I've been trying to read a book called "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking" but I can't really get into it.

I'm posting as my family is playing WII and video games. I also post when we're out shopping and stuff.

Obsessed, yes. Introverted, maybe not so much?

I find I function far better at work and home if I get my alone time. Many times I golf and fish by myself. Many times I prefer it that way.

Hmmm, not sure what I am. I don't really need alone time (pretty much impossible with 3 kids) but I like it when I do get it. :)

It's the time to rest more than the alone time. . .

Yes.  The calm during the drive to work (after the hectic morning of getting kids up, dressed, fed, lunches made, and off to school) is positively euphoric. ;)

Been there, done that. My niece stayed with us a while, so I also had 3 kids. It's nice just flopping on the bed with the door closed on occasion as the kids plot their next big escapade. . .

Great summary. I am definitely introverted. I play golf alone as my escape and recharge time.

The only change I would make for myself is in the "Why I carry a book" pie chart.  It's 95% because I love reading, and 5% to deter people from talking to me.

I'll have to watch the entire thing, when I have some time. The "rowdy" part was pretty funny! :-D

Introvert here.

The thing is that introversion/extroversion is more of a scale than just one thing or another.  Everybody just lands on a different point on the scale.  I can be very social and very extroverted around a group of people I know well, but when I'm in a group I don't know very well or if the group doesn't hold my interest then I zone out and prefer to be in my own mind or to be alone.

Has anybody hear hear of the Myers-Briggs personality stuff?  I find it very interesting.

    • No rain while I was out (9am to 11:30am). Fairly pleasant for a late November day in the Mitten.
    • Day 56 - 2024-11-25 Did the BAD Challenge and hit a bunch more other little shots. This was one of the closer shots.
    • 70 today. The number looks good but, the course is a par 67 (5,110 yards, 64.3/115.). While the 70 took quite a few good shots to achieve, I am not counting that as shooting my age.
    • Played our town’s executive course this morning. Everything is closing but for now Huron Hills remains open. #13 is shaped like an upside down backwards L (dogleg left). Only 231 yard par 4. Dogleg has a tree guarding the corner and a sand bunker guards the green for those cutting the dogleg. Tiny green. About 10 years ago or more I would try to cut the dogleg. The hole is so short that even if one tangled with the tree or was bunkered, par was likely and birdie was still on the table. Now in my 70’s, I just hit it straight and try to wedge it close for birdie. Today I screwed up and pulled my drive. I wandered around a bit when my ball was not in the bunker. Finally located it on the approach to the green. Almost chipped in and tapped in the 2 inches for birdie. Best unintentional shot of the week. 😲
