The Cup is on the journey. It's now in the hands of the USPS and heavily insured...

I just noticed this and it made me curious.

The first location on that list I am presuming is @iacas and @Club Rat I'm presuming your location is the third one which I believe is Missouri.  Since the Cup is with @kpaulhus who I think said he was in Arkansas, who had it at the "2" location of Phoenix, Arizona?

Erik brought the Cup to Phoenix. I entered Moon Valley as the location of event being played. Mike asked me to take the cup home and ship it later because I drove to Phoenix.

Also Erik and Mike had big plans to play golf and they had tons of other stuff to take care of.

And that's the rest of the story folks.

Not sure why you italicized the font but thank you for the back story.

It was purely accidental, I must have tagged the big "I" while using the onscreen keyboard.

I noticed it halfway through the message and was too lazy to correct it.

Italics are sexy like me, that's what my wife tells me........

I figure it must be true because many of my golf buddies give me the French Salute after they hand me their Cash O'la.....

I'd actually mailed the Cup to Mike first, a few months ahead of time, as he was droving to Phoenix (before taking a flight home).

Cup will be shipped to @mvmac tomorrow. I ended up bringing the cup to my country club and smoking cigars with some buddies on the back deck Saturday after our round. WE talked about the tournament, TST, and the trip we are planning to Orlando.

I didnt end up drinking out of the cup. I have a bit of a cold and didnt really want to scrub the inside lol. I updated the box with my location and will send Mike the tracking info. Im sure it will be a busy week at the post office.

Had a great day with the Newport Cup! Golf club was closed today so the cup hung out with me for some putting practice.

Nice job with getting it fixed @Club Rat! I'll try my best to replicate the professional packing job that you and @kpaulhus did. Will be on it's way to @Golfingdad tomorrow.

Here's a Pro tip.

Lay the cup on it's side, the the bottom makes a good target for putting practice...  ;-)

Today was my day with the cup.  The kids all wanted to drink out of it, but the inside doesn't look terribly sanitary, so we let them fake it:

Next, it accompanied me to work (safety first!!!) ...

Where it spent the day in a place of somewhat prominence

And lastly, it watched with a keen eye as I did my daily 5 minutes of practice.

So, who's next??

(I have pictures for each of these but my phone is being a butt right now)

@Big C is next I think. Then he can ship it to me.

Then, I will be taking bribes from the blue team to decide who should get it first. :-D

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
