I honestly don't know for sure.  I know that I've birdied #1 and eagled #2 on my home course (each more than once), but I very much doubt that I ever did both in the same round.  It would probably be just -2,  either birdie-birdie or par-eagle, with par-eagle being the most likely.  I really don't know if I ever birdied two holes in a row or not.  It's likely back when I was playing my best golf, but I can't really swear to it.

Par, birdie, birdie, birdie, par (missed a 4-footer for 4th bird in a row).  Ended up +3, 75 on the day.

I once started eagle, eagle, birdie. A 480 yard par 5, a 290 yard par 4 and a 360 yard par 4. It was at my home course, which is not very challenging, but I did shoot my lowest round ever, a 62 (-8) that day. They have since switched the front and back nine so I doubt I'll ever be able to do that again.

Last year I had a round that started birdie birdie bogey bogey par birdie bogey. The worst part was I missed a 7 ft putt on 5 for another birdie. It was fun.

Even after 2 is a pretty good start for me :8)

I can't remember any hot starts so I'm going to assume that's as good as it ever got.

Not very impressive for me but started -2 through 4 but finished the nine at 35.

My hottest start was probably the first 4 holes in my tournament yesterday. Was pouring down rain and managed to start par, par, birdie, par. My first hole was a 280 ish yard par 4 where you can either hit a iron off to the fairway or try to carry it to the green and the 3 kids in my group had already hit their irons and they told me to hit and I told them I was going for the green and I was going to wait since there was a group in front of us. The kids were like whatever so I tee it up and I crush one at the green and it landed 3 feet from my schools #1 player and rolls out to about 15 feet, I proceeded to 3 putt though

Birdie-birdie and par-eagle are the best starts that I remember.  Done them both several times on different courses, I've never been a fast starter on the course, other than a few times.

I was once one under through 5 and one over through 9 on an executive course.  That is pretty insane for someone with my handicap.

I went 10 over on the back nine.

My best ever was staying at even par for 4 holes...par, bogie, birdie, par.  Don't remember what happened on 4, but it was at least a double..still, that start was fun.  It was on a tough course, too.

My hottest ever start to a round was  -6 through 5 holes. It was at Saddleback Golf Club, and it messed up the rest of my round badly.

Hole 1: Fairway drive, approach to 10 feet,  one putt for birdie.

Hole 2: Drive the ball near the green,  pitch to 5 feet, one putt for birdie.

Hole 3: Clear the dogleg on my tee shot into the right rough, hit the green in two with about 25 feet to the hole, sink a great putt for eagle.

Hole 4: Hit a solid tee shot to about 20 feet, make the putt for birdie.

Hole 5: Hit a long tee shot in the fairway, hit the green in two, two putt for birdie from about 40 feet.

I went birdie, birdie, eagle, birdie, birdie. The problem was after the second par 5 I got to thinking about how well I was playing and started stupidly wondering about what the course record was. I shot 3 over for the rest of the round, which was still a great score, but it would've been better if I had kept my nose to the grindstone and avoided thinking about it too much.

That start did, however, make it much easier on the back nine when it came to me breaking 70 for the first time. I had shot 70 a few times prior, each time fading down the final few holes. I made a pair of birdies to start the back nine, and bookended 5 pars with a pair of bogeys on 17 and 18. Not the best way to finish but I was cheering by the end of it.

Recently, I started one round birdie, eagle and another round birdie, birdie, birdie.  Several years ago, I was -4 after 6 holes and put a tee shot a couple of feet from the hole on #7 (a par 3) and the heavens opened up.  Never finished the round.

Today, my wife went par-par-par, and I went par-birdie-bogey to start a round.  That's a par start for 6 total holes between us (16+ & 26 handicappers).

IIRC, -1 through 4 on the back nine of my league course last year was my best start. I birdied the first hole, a short par 4. Then I followed with 3 pars in a row.

My last round started out good... Birdie.... Then, things went sideways a bit.... double bogey, par, triple bogey, bogie, par. Just wanted to make sure I got them all covered (ha). No Eagles or Albatrosses, though.

Interestingly, I have only had two eagles in my life.... One on the 10th hole of a par 5 (back in 1982 in Cleveland). The second was a couple years ago on a par 4 (8 iron approach shot went in... A gift)... And it was also the 10th hole. I like 10!

I think I mentioned it in another thread about Pebble Beach. Started off Birdie, Eagle, Birdie.. -4 after 3. Things went back to normal after that.
