No way, its perfect now.  So what if its shorter?  Its the same distance for everyone.  I would rather see more eagles than bogeys.

Don't get me wrong, I'm normally totally against the arbitrary adding of yards to golf courses, but that hole just seems too easy at the moment - I would rather see eagles, but they should be earned with three really good shots. The fact that you can shove it in the trees, punch out and still wind up with a birdie putt just doesn't sit too well with me. That said, it is great fun to watch on the Sunday though - I just think it could use another 30-50 yards.

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

What's in the bag: Callaway X2 Hot Driver, Titleist 915F 3 wood, X2 Hot 3 Hybrid, 3, 5-AW Apex Pro irons, 54*, 58* Cleveland RTX, Odyssey Versa 1 Putter

it gets worse, he was within 2 feet for his par putt!

Looks like he missed a 3 footer on the 2nd as well

More trouble for Rickie - he's been so far off what we expected

Rickie water on 16 his head is exploding Joe isn't/didn't calm him down.

I've said this for awhile, he would really benefit from a Stevie Williams like caddy. He needs someone who will kick him in the ass when he needs it. The talent is there, but he gets in his own way far too often.

So talk of the Big 4 is dead for now, right?

Not dead as a result of this 18 holes, but I just don't think he's near the level of the other three. Not really sure why (other than media-drive) this 'Big Four' became a thing, if I'm honest. Sure he's won a couple of tournaments recently, but he went ages before winning one and, as today shows, way more inconsistent.

Currently focusing on: Key 4 - shorter backswing.

Yeah this is pouting and it looks bad. He's just batting it around now like he doesn't care if it gets worse.

Dave :-)

    • Why do we care about 2nd place?! He LOST!!! You win or lose. Tiger’s accomplishments are of him being the best and winning. All anyone can come up with for Jack are majors and losing but “close.”
    • Not literally. But yes, he did. Much weaker, yes, which greatly inflated his record. No, you still are. I’m not missing it. I just don’t value achieving a worse record over a longer period of time.
    • Nice i took a long time to read the birdie putt then missed it. Wordle 1,057 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟨⬜🟨🟨 ⬜🟩🟨🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
    • Jack didn't face 10 year olds. Tom Watson was runner up at the 2009 British Open. He did however face weaker competition overall.  I am not missing any point. I have read your thread. I never said Jack was better. Tiger was better at his peak.  Jack has a better record even adjusted for field strength. What you are missing is Jack was consistently better for approximately a decade longer.  You are completely ignoring the horrible stretch Tiger had.  The attached images are not because of field strength.  My reasoning is nothing like that and I have given you no reason to think that.
