I'm barely following this, but DJ and McIlroy lost? That's the sound of countless brackets going down the drain.

Oh, whoops, it's round robin. See, I barely follow this event. :-O

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

 I thought the same thing earlier. I'm in a bracket challenge and I am very, very grateful that it is round robin

they had a hissy fit about him not having shoes on...maybe, just maybe, he was standing there in his shoes and decided they didn't have good traction on the walk?

he played that shot really nicely

 

and I would have liked some commentary about him tossing (appears to anyway - he found security and specifically was pointing out an individual) a spectator - they need to highlight that a LOT more, maybe at least a small percentage of the asshats might get the message.

so about play in this format -

the group -

  • Finau (2-0-0)
  • Noren (2-0-0)
  • Pieters (0-2-0)
  • Na (0-2-0)

So next round - Do Pieters and Na even play?  Or do they retire and just get the same payout?

(Same probably for the Spieth/Reed group.....)

I really enjoy the banter in the match play.   It adds to the excitement of the match.   I think Reed's comment was in jest and Jordan knows as such.
