Yikes. Tiger might have just hit his first tee shot OB with an iron. They said it's right on the OB line. His provisional wasnt much better but they said his provisional is at least in bounds.

Yeah that was just abysmal. I'm more concerned with him hitting the second one on nearly the same terrible line...

I hope he does...I understand doing it in the rough, maybe even a fairway, but NOT on a green

I don’t think he should be DQ’d. It was a practice green and he immediately repaired it.

No I hadn't watched that clip yet. I listened to the NoLayingUp guys talk about it on their most recent podcast but wasn't quite sure what they were referring to.

Ugh...he's such a dick. I don't care how much you "care about playing well", what about other players playing or practicing well on the damaged conditions you just caused?

Sort of OT, but I really wish the PGA Tour would publish fines for stuff like this and slow play. Outside of the most extreme case (Sergio), we see stuff like this and we don't see any consequences. I don't like the example that sets for your average golfer. There are many ways to get out your anger without damaging the course like 6 year old.

I'm assuming Bryson will get fined, and rightfully so. I think slow players do get fined as well. But we don't know about it because the PGA Tour doesn't publish the fines.
