It would be really tough to decide between #1 and #2 but I'd probably opt for #2.

If I could make up my own group I'd play with Trevino, Couples and Charlie Sifford. I interviewed Sifford many years ago and he had some great stories...a few of which i could actually use (after some editing 😳 ).

That would be a memorable day on the course to say the least.

Great answer, Charlie used to play at a course outside Houston when I first moved there in the early 80's. He was very friendly, and could tell quite a tale.

It was 1973-ish and I was a college kid listening to a legend. The only thing I really remember about the interview was him talking about winning his first US Negro Open. I wasn't that naive but hearing that come out of his mouth was sobering. Or something.

Sorry to derail the topic here but I hadn't thought about that in a long time.

My old but trusty bag is filled with clubs I built...Integra SoooLong 450 10.5°, Jackaroo II 13* 16* 23*  hybrids, Dynacraft irons and wedges...plus a sweet Tad Moore Peach putter.

An experience to last a lifetime....

As would the round..!

I'd pick group 4 although I'd like to follow group 2.   I can see group 4 having a good time on the golf course.   ie..."hold my beer, watch this..."

Definitely group 2 for me. No desire to play with Player so he kills group 1 for me.

Group 2. GOAT, the Escape Artist and Rory’s beautiful swing. My choice.

Group 1, Love to talk with Jack and Arnie, but would not want to listen to Gary Player drone on about himself.

Group 3, would be cool watching the power twins and Bubba bending it.

Group 4, would be cool too. Pound for pound some of the strongest players.

Group 5, not household name but still Pros.

I voted narrowly for 1 over 2. I suspect it would be a closer poll if Gary Player were replaced by Tom Watson.

6.My group would be

#Patrick Reed

#Jordan Speith

# Club Pro Guy.

# Me

That would make for an interesting 18 holes of Golf.
Speith and Reed have to share a cart as well.

Club Pro Guy and myself would be in another.

Venue would be  The International Golf Club's Pines Course in Bolton, Mass just for laughs as it is the longest course @ 8325 yards short.

Remember its just a game.....more serious than life and death.

Group 2 for sure.

Group 1 in their prime, but let me swap Gary Player out for just about anyone else.  Maybe Tom Watson?  Hell, Fuzzy Zoeller would be fun!

I don't know those guys.

I'd much rather play with three of my friends.

Oh my dear friend how can you play this incredible game and not know or heard of one of those names. These are legends that will live on in the winds of golf. I’m truly sorry or the biggest sucker ever

Who the groups again

I picked Group 4, and if we were playing a fourball, I would probably take Jordan as my partner. I’ve heard really good things about all of them, and it would probably be an enjoyable and relaxing round.

I voted for #1...but can I trade out Player for Trevino?

Player seems like a TOOL....and it seems like I'm not the only one who thinks Player is a dbag.

Group 2 hands down for me. If there was a group with McCord, Ken Green and Daly in it Id pick that one.
