I've been deprived. No course I've played at served curry. I think Caledonia served clam chowder? There was a shack or something.

Someone's TV needs an adjustment or something.

Never been a big fan of curry, myself. Seems like an odd choice of on-course food, too, mid-round. But when in Rome?

There's a lot of good Indian food in England, I guess because it was a colony? Wait, that's in St Andrews. Well, Scotland, close enough. 😜

But I wouldn't stand behind Rose any time soon, lol.

Long time ago I had a chance to golf in other parts of the world and many of them not only have a fine dinning room, typically there were snack shacks midway through 9 holes.  So everyone stop for a snack 4-5 holes in the rounds.  Usually a short stop of 5-10 minutes and the grab and go scene was quite eye-opening for me in the beginning.  They had some really yummy snacks, sandwiches, cup of soups, bowel of noodles, freshly squeezed fruit juice.... lots of choices.  Not like here with the usual hot dogs, hamburger.,sandwiches......

I'd definitely do soup in the fall/early winter.

If you’re playing with Bryson you could have a nice ribeye with some steamed broccoli. Perhaps a nice red wine as well.

What?

There's a lot of good Indian food in Britain because  a lot of people with Indian heritage live there. Not because it was a colony. That explains why they play cricket in India.

Ribeye cooks too fast. I’m thinking pulled pork on a smoker. That’s about a 12 hour cook or one round for BD. Of course BD would have the caddy tow the smoker around with him.

@nevets88,

No one calls me chicken! 😜

When you're in the top 10 worldwide, you can have a "helper" run into town and fetch you a curry to go from Jahangir.

With Deliveroo and Uber Eats you can get your fave food pretty much wherever you want, heck i might have to order something myself mid round. Might be a bit hard to eat a 12" meat feast pizza while carrying my bag though :-D

So, how about chili? And I mean the full tilt version, not the stuff you put on hot dogs!

A bone-in ribeye is one of the finest steaks going! If it cooks too fast for you, your grill is too hot! Or, you're too impatient!
