I'd like to win the U.S. Women's Open, of course. It's the richest purse on the LPGA tour.

Yeah I think the only problem with woman's golf is the coverage well here in the uk it is very boring because when the solheim cup was on the atmosphere and the sky features was every bit as entertaining as any men's event with the same great golf

I guess The Masters just for the overall name recognition, but really, I'll take any of them.

I'd like to win the open championship at St Andrews. Or the US Open at Pebble.

The Masters, with the US Open in a very close second.

For me, it's the US Open. Even if it's the long shot of all long shots, the qualifying process captures the imagination of an old hack like me.

Watching The Greatest Game Ever Played really fired me up.

I picked Masters but the British Open is a close second. Especially if the tournament was being held in Scotland. Winning the Open Championship at the "home of golf" would be grrrreat.

The US Open would be awesome as well, knowing you've won in some of the toughest conditions.

PGA Championship? Meh.

Of the three I care to watch,  Masters, US Open, and The Open, I suppose I would rank The Open as the most prestigious of the three. I love reading about golf history, and that major is loaded with it. The Masters would be a very, very close second. If I were to win the USO, I would have to attribute that win to being good, and lucky that week, since it is set up pretty hard most times. .

The PGAC is just another WGC event to my way of thinking.

Two quick points: - The Masters is the youngest major. It's "history" is the shortest. - The PGA has, by far, the strongest field each year. The PGA is routinely pooped on but its reputation seems undeserved. They've done a particularly good job lately. Consider last year: you could easily make the case that it was the best and most exciting major.

I picked The Open.  I love the history and the tradition.  To win on the Old Course would be unbelievable.

I agree with Erik's points, but still picked The Masters. I love the look of it, the course, the drama through the years, the television coverage. It is my favorite.

The Open Championship is the oldest, the US Open is our national championship, and the PGA has a strong field. The PGA was exciting this year, and has improved over the last few years. I like them all for different reasons, and each has its own look and feel, but The Masters is just my favorite.
