We're supposed to get 9-12" on Sunday. Oh well. I've got my net set up ready if it warms enough. I also bought a cheap mat for the gym at work it hit foam balls.

No snow in NYC, but nasty, rainy day. Temps set to plummet. Salt spreaders going wild. Time to break out the Musher's Secret for the dog.

Opted to practice outside today instead of inside tomorrow. Availability of practice times indoors filling up quickly where I am. Wondering if that's the New Year resolution people, or more people knowing about the practice facility, or something that I just didn't notice last year.

The record low temperature in Bellingham is -2 f  or -19 c (per Wikipedia).  When was the last time you played in -29 weather and where was it?

This morning really sucked.  The entire car was frozen in a block of ice. Took 30 minutes extra just to get the thing on thawed and on the road. I also would have thought the city could have made better use of all that tax money I pay them and gotten the roads better sorted.

But, I'm feeling optimistic.

Generally, in this area, we'll get one or two mornings a year where the air temperature will be below zero. The odds of this happening again are pretty low. It's just going to get warmer from here.

Wow, really strong winds today. Despite the meager 14mph report, the balls are moving 20 degrees to 40 degrees left on my home range... 🤪😂🤪

Feels more like 40mph gusts...

More snow expected tomorrow.  Looks like January is a total bust for golf.  On the other hand, nice new power for snowboarding.

I upgraded my irons, added a 3 hybrid, and bought a new driver for Christmas.  Still haven't been able to play a round with them.  I don't know why I'm living in St. Louis 😞
