Worked on my mapping in the living room for 5 mins. Went outside and worked on it and mixed in hitting some shots. I hit 7 or 8 balls in about 30 mins. I hit 6 pure and 2 a little thin. No pulls though which is great for me.

Hit a bucket of balls yesterday and did some drills but forgot to post  . Today I put in some time on the putting green to try a get the touch back because my distance control has been sloppy lately.

Went to the range after work.

Worked on my backswing piece, downswing piece and trying to work out the swing feels for a consistent swing meshing the two pieces together.

10 minutes in the backyard hitting my whiffle ball on a string while the wife put the kids to bed. Swinging at what felt like 60% speed, focusing on my shoulder piece while swinging through the ball to an alternate rightward spot in the grass. Big pause at the top to collect my thoughts. No camera, but the grass was long enough to sort of see my path. Looked outwards to me.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

Range prior to the round, worked on pacing: swinging slower to transition properly. I also did some putting drills for speed, but I generally do that before a round anyway. Oh, and I played and shot an 84. 5 GIR + 6 near-GIR. Only had four double bogeys, nothing worse. Nine par-or-better. So something's working well. :-) Plus, between yesterday and today, my Snell survived 36 holes (previous ones were lost 27, 26, and 16 holes into their lifetimes), so I can finish that review (I wanted that picture, but didn't focus on it during the round).

5 minutes tonight after dinner. Went back to working on full swing and by taking the club back slowly and stopping at A4 and laying the shaft down and bowing my front wrist and then stating again and stopping at A6.

Today I spent about 15 minutes practising putting with a forward press start.

Spent at least 5 minutes in the yard taking slow swings. Working on right elbow location.

Did 10 minutes mirror work before my weight workout.  Focused on flattening the wrist at A4 and keeping the right elbow in the proper position.  On the downswing, focused on keeping the right elbow in front of my shirt seam and completing my hip and shoulder turn.

Played 18 and then had a 1 hour lesson with the pro which was brilliant, he is the best one to one coach I have worked with!  He highlighted my cupped left wrist as my priority piece straightaway.....as the guys on here did!  So he has given me some drills to work on which are; getting the right elbow to point more towards the ground at A3-A4 and having the right wrist flatter to promote a more bowed left wrist.  I did short slow backswings, checking the wrist position and then hitting the shot.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
