I've won a number of club competitions (is this what you guys call a tournament?). The best being a stroke play comp last summer with 140 guys in the field? My best golfing achievement to date.

I've had only a handful of eagles. Less than one per year.

Broke par finally 🤣

I have won the net division of the 2024 William Anderson Match Play Championships at Neshanic Valley Golf Course.

Broke par (finally!) with 69 from the white tees at Wing Point Country Club on July 25. It's a par 71 course. One eagle, 4 birdies, 9 pars, and 4 bogeys. Finished birdie, birdie, par on #16-18.

I broke 80. Actually, I broke it 13 times last year and beat one of the goals I had set for 2015, which was to break 80 10 times during the year. Yeah! 

Got several eagles too. None on a par 3 (hole-in-one), a couple on a par 4, with the latest in 2015, and a couple on a par 5 (I am a relatively short hitter)...

      It’s winter here and time hitting at my indoor place.  This year I bought and sold a few sets so I didn’t settle in on anything. For this coming season, starting now I have a choice to make.  What set would you guys use? 1.  Nike Vapor Pro irons - They are like new, hit them some last year before I had to demo other sets.  I love them, original grips, barely used so I’m almost not wanting to use them to keep their value up.  Standard LLL and standard grips. 2. Taylormade P7TW irons - Still in the box.  Got them over a year ago but had too much to hit, never used them.  Have used a set in the past and loved them.  Ended up with my own set custom fit to me -1/4”, 1 degree flat midsize grips.  These are probably not as valuable because they are still available and they are fit to me. I hate to put the Nikes away but it makes more sense to save them than the TW’s…. I dunno….
