I started off with an old two wheel pull trolley, which was better than carrying, but only just. I was sold a second hand electric trolley, but didn't get on with it. It was a tad temperamental, and walking next to someone with a push trolley was quite difficult, due to getting the speed right. I then ordered a very cheap 3 wheel push trolley from ebay, which was quite a good design, but fell apart before I even put my bag on it. Needless to say this was returned for a full refund. My local golf course had a reasonable quality 3 wheel push trolley on sale for £60, so I invested. For 5 months this was a loyal servant, until last weekend when one of the support arms snapped. My golf club offered to give me a new one, but I have paid the additional amount and bought a motocaddy S1 lite 3 wheel push trolley. It's fantastic, and it feels so light across the the course you would think it is hovering. Let's just hope this one doesn't fall apart.

In my bag (Motocaddy Light)

Taylormade Burner driver, Taylormade 4 wood, 3 x Ping Karsten Hybrids, 6-SW Ping Karsten irons with reg flex graphite shafts. Odyssey putter, 20 Bridgestone e6 balls, 2 water balls for the 5th hole, loads of tees, 2 golf gloves, a couple of hand warmers, cleaning towel, 5 ball markers, 2 pitch mark repairers, some aspirin, 3 hats, set of waterproofs, an umbrella, a pair of gaiters, 2 pairs of glasses. Christ, it's amazing I can pick the bloody thing up !!

Half the time I walk and carry my bag.  The other half I ride in a golf cart.  I prefer walking but circumstances often dictate riding and that is okay, too.

Typically I just carry my bag, I've found that push carts tend to throw off my gait causing me some knee pain.

When riding on a cart I use my Sun Mountain C-130 cart bag. I also own a clic gear 3.5+ push cart which is very nice but I missed the ease of carrying. The cart is sometimes hard to navigate around fences and ropes which are to keep driven carts from certain areas. Recently I purchased a Sun Mountain stand bag which I now use when I walk. I like that I can just step over ropes w/o needing to lift the push cart over.

I have a 3-wheeled cart (can't remember the brand, not clic gear or sun mountain) that I bought from a used sporting goods store.  It folds up perfectly for my trunk (or in English: boot) and has been very rugged over the past 3 seasons.

I have a Sunmountain Speedcart and a Callaway stand bag that I use when I walk with all my clubs or when it's wet

I also have a Callaway Hyperlite 2.5 bag with no stand that I use to  carry 9 clubs D, 4w, 22h, 5i, 7i, 9i, W,S, Putter

I don't find that my scores change.

I like my Clicgear 3.5+.  It's a little bigger than I had expected based on a lot of the reviews but it's rock-solid and it saves my back.  For me the worst part about carrying was picking the bag up and putting it down, and if I was on uneven terrain, getting it to stay put.  More than once I had my old stand bag fall over with a big crash just as I was starting my downswing.

When I am playing 18 holes, I use caddies if available but use a cart when not. If I am playing late in the day at my club and am playing 9 holes or less, I carry with a very light carry bag. They have push carts available for rent, but I am far more comfortable carrying the bag.

When I walk I use a Tour Trek One-Click Classic. During the hottest days of the year I drive a cart. I prefer walking, cause it keeps my clubs closer to hand and because it makes the pace feel slower without actually slowing the pace of play all that much. Definitely a more relaxing game when you walk the course.

I'd love to just carry, but after a while the shoulder gets tired and the up and downs get annoying.

I push, I can push 27 holes with hills and be good to go with no pains, pulling would be OK too I think, but why pull when pushing is so easy? I know the answer but won't go there.

I avoid riding whenever possible, even though it feels so good to relax and play sometimes, the drawbacks are just not worth it.

90% of the time I get to go out, it's with some friends so we use a cart. The few times I walk, I use a cheap 2 wheeled push-cart. I always use my Bag Boy Revolver to holster my sticks

For years I carried. Have had two and three wheeled carts also. this year I find myself riding most of the time as I tire easily. One thing about walking is you get to visualize/judge your next shot longer as opposed to riding when you get up on it too quickly sometimes.  Walking also serves as the poor man's range finder as you pace off the yardage.

I use an inexpensive Orlimar 3wheel cart. I'll get a sun mtn or Clic gear as soon as I wear this one out. 3 years of golfing 2-3 days a week it's still going

When I walk my local executive course (4400 yards for 18) I just pay $2 and rent a no-frills pull cart.  All of my rounds on championship length courses I ride.

I usually carry mine.  If a cart is mandatory or included in the green fees, then I will ride.

I have a sun mountain push cart (love it) and a callaway stand bag. The only time I ride is when cart is included or required. The only time I carry is when I play with my wife - so she can use the cart.

    • Day 24: did a stack session. Worked a bit on downswing feels during breaks.
    • Day 444 - 2025-12-18 Light day of hotel room work. GEARS Summit v2.0 today. Good day.
    • Day 38 (18 Dec 25) - got out in the backyard with grandson this afternoon.  We got into a little game of pitching the ball from about 25yds to a target point just off the asphalt lane behind the backyard.  Goal - just clear it with a quick hop and stop.  Focused on using the wedge swing motion I was talking with the course pro yesterday….smooth and thru just bruising the grass.  In addition to a concentrated focus on technique, it also called for a quiet mind locked in on target point.  Rehearsed this with both the 50° and 55° wedges.
    • I listened to the Shaun Webb one about the swing coach app. Sounds like a great thing and will (hopefully) be very useful for me. I do think the hosts are underestimating where AI could be in a few years. Right now it's just regurgitating stuff that it has been told or it has scrubbed from somewhere else and a human guiding things will be quite a lot more helpful than just the AI, but it's going to keep developing and it will reach the stage where it's figuring this stuff out on its own. Time will come when it will have you do a TPI style screen and take various height/arm length/leg length etc. measurements, have you tell it some history and your time constraints and goals and what not and it will watch a video of your swing face on and DTL and it will know exactly what you need to work on.
    • I found it entertaining, but the announcing was lousy.  How did the measuring on the final shot start with Rory being closer and being told he won, and then with no explanation it turns out Scottie won?  Weird.
