Good thing I don't have any kids, and I don't make much. Got it at even odds, and spending a little juice. Heard from inside sources that something is wrong with the europeans

What, exactly, is wrong with the Europeans?

I like it. Call it typical American arrogance or whatever you want, but personally I think the US squad wins and wins pretty big this year.

Well the Ameican team is definately favored to win.  I put $50 down on them to win an extra $25. I also read that the American team has a much lower OWGR average than the European team, so my bet, on paper,  seems to be safe.

However,  this is the Ryder Cup. Anything can happen. This is one of the golf contests I make time to watch.

On a personal note, 99.99% of me wants the Red, White, & Blue to win. However, there is this little critter setting on my shoulder who wants to hear DL-3 explain why his "best ever" team lost. Lost after all this "task force" stuff was put into the mix.

Which ever team wins, I just hope it's close contest, that comes down to the last pairing, and the last putt.

Nope, half my yearly salary.  Have some really confident information. Pretty much a lock.  Anyways, you don't live a little unless you have big money on something. Prediction (USA wins by 2.5

Exactly what score could they have that would total 28 points, be scored in increments of 0.5, and have a 2.5 point difference?

They added a wrinkle this year ... if you want you can offer to "quarter" the hole if you're down a stroke or two and still away.  Sort of like "surrender" in blackjack.

USA wins 15.25-12.75.

O Brother

Well, first good on his comments, it shows that some of the Brits still have balls, not many but a few. Not really to fight but at least to sit in a well kept, clean to the limit room and write some properly composed lyrics (English rap) about Americas less desirable elements.

What they don’t have apparently is any pop or modern culture or nothing new since before they had to dig out from the big war. In fact the writer, a bloke? joke?  had such fun and volume with his references because that’s like a week in the downside of America and is easily only a weeks worth.

But then there’s that troubling fact as well that the technology he used to write it, autocorrect it, email it with, or connect to be able to email it with, well that’s like 1-5% in the last three years in Americas invention and productivity stream.

So yes we have a lot that is slime ball worthy, because well we have a lot, you get that from being productive, innovative, smart and willing to kick ass some of the time or as we are, all of the time.

So instead of gaining satisfaction from the wit, written in well-structured sentences, poking fun at America, likely written in a 500 year old room, it’s likely, that you like many in old old England, you just well hate yourself for no real accomplishment and the underbelly that goes with constant change, of your own, in a hundred or two hundred years.

How’s that space program coming.

Ps One great exception is Prince Harrys Invictus games. Bravo

Ciao.

All the best,
