I nominate @boogielicious

It's fits the part of most golfers. I often comment to my buddies "I can make bogey with the best"
and "anybody can make a twenty-footer to save bogey"

ha ha.  Since there is a guitar in his profile picture I always thought boogie/boogielicious was the musical term and not a reference to the word bogey.

I've always liked @Fourputt; no great reason in particular I guess, but:

1. like all 2-syllable nicknames, it rolls of the tongue

2. it's easily recognized

3. it'll "stick" as a long term nickname unlike longer names that just don't take

4. and I've had a few 4-putts in my illustrious career, I find it comforting that someone else shares in that feat....assuming he's actually 4-putted before.

I would go along with @No Mulligans mainly due to the spelling.

The other term "Bogey" has a lot of different meanings, alluding to malevolent beings, image of incoming aircraft or missiles on radar, or an Australian term pertaining to swimming, or bathing.  Of course you could always simply ask "boogielicious" himself.  "Let's boogie".  As for my own "Nome de Plum", I got that from the film on TGC  " Hacker Jones" (or whatever it was called).

Yeah… I don't think it's about "bogey" @Club Rat;-)

I always liked @cipher. It meets your two-syllable requirement, @woodzie264. :-)

Hmm, Ok I'll say because it's a catchy username and Scott is a great forum leader who does a lot of good things for TST.

Nope, my error...It was "The legend of Bagger Vance".

You mean it doesn't have to do with boogers?  That changes my whole perception of him.

I always like @Stretch. Or @jamo.

What occurs to me, and being mindful that I have no horse in this race, is that it is about the "best" name, not popularity. Of course, having "both" would be nice.

I've always got a kick out of @Slice of Life. Good non-golf phrase that uses an all-to-familiar golf term (for my tee shots).

Honorable mentions that have good rings to them (even if more than 2 syllables!):

@Al B Tross, @Archie Bunker, @sirhacksalot, @Shanks A Million, @isukgolf, @No Mulligans, @Gator Hazard

Not to hijack, but I'd like to up the ante. My username won't be in the running since it's one I used on an archery forum and it's easy for me to remember. Maybe someday I'll get specific and switch to something catchier.

My idea is the best username/avatar combo! In that case paininthenuts might be a runaway winner! I'd also cast a vote for natureboy since I am seriously in love with his avatar! That's the woman of my dreams, right there!

There's like 4-5 versions of "Shankapotamus;"  I love that one. Always makes me think of the taking baby E-trade commercial :-P

Should I change names, I would consider using  "Link", "Morpheus", or "Neo"  and take the RED pill.

    • The MTB Prime and Prime X had issues with the cover being too soft and getting cut too easily. They said it was more prevalent in the Prime than the Prime X which I found odd because that was the exact opposite of my experience.
    • Day 120 - Played 18; much better than yesterday. Miss right now is off the heel of the club, so I need to sort that out.
    • Today we played Pease Golf Course in Portsmouth, NH. Course was in great shape but my game didn't show up. I will say I pitched and chipped fairly well but almost everything else was very hit or miss. Cost myself a lot hitting an in play drive with pulling my approach shots maybe 85% of the time. Finally figured out I had been swaying most of the round. Only took me until 13 to figure it out. Used what felt like a much more centered turn and the ballstriking improved. 18 tomorrow using a 2 man scramble format. Just looking to contribute. Been a blast though.
    • Day 22: Hit balls with 7-iron using mevo+ to track dispersion. Was out for a long time after work; 86 balls but the first 50+ were 50% swings focusing on top of backswing feel and then just hitting the ball as a psychic reward. Finished with 20 balls close to full speed. Pretty happy with dispersion and also no horrendous misses. I’m chunking my priority piece out into two separate feels, first and more important is the position/balance at top of backswing which is what I was working on. Once I have that engrained I’ll move to transition part.
    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
